“Rudy. What happened? Calm down.”
Uncle James asked while wrapping his arm around the sobbing Rudy’s shoulders.
Rudy wiped his tears with his worn sleeve and barely managed to speak.
“My sister got hit trying to protect me. People were beating us and throwing stones…”
Rudy wailed as he grabbed Uncle James’s hand desperately.
“Please, save my sister Rena. She’ll die if people keep beating her. Sob sob.”

Rena? The Ulpes tribe’s Rena is here?
Uncle tried to calm Rudy down by patting his back and asked calmly.
“Rudy, calm down. Where is your sister now?”
Rudy was trembling all over with fear as tears streamed down his face.

The snowstorm began to spin at a ferocious speed, and like a violent, sharp whip, it flew and wrapped around people’s legs.

“Where did this snowstorm come from!”
The men screamed and fell to the ground. Their legs were covered in blood.
The snowstorm tore through the ground like a blade and rushed toward them at a terrifying speed.
Normally, I should have stopped here. But seeing Rena motionless on the ground, appearing lifeless, I couldn’t stop.
They need to feel the same pain.

I bared my sharp fangs and glared at them.

The street became chaotic with thick dust and a snowstorm swirling together.

I tried with all my might to stop the snowstorm, but it was useless.
The snowstorm carrying my anger had transformed into a powerful weapon.
Karden was gritting his teeth and activating his sword energy to withstand the power of the snowstorm.
Just then, an ice fragment mixed in the snowstorm grazed his cheek.
The sharp edge of the ice fragment left a red line-like wound on his cheek.
“Ah, no…!”
I was so shocked that my legs gave out. The snowstorm disappeared instantly.
What have I done? Blinded by anger, I hurt Karden.
My whole body began to tremble. I lowered my tail, shaking.
The snowstorm stopped instantly, and the ice fragments all shattered on the ground.
Yudis and the soldiers rushed to restrain the men, and Ron was using healing magic on the fallen silver fox, Rena.
Karden filled my vision, looking down at me with worried eyes.
Seeing the blood trickling down his cheek made my heart sink.
Noticing my gaze, Karden quickly wiped his cheek with his sleeve.
“Don’t worry about this. It will heal quickly.”
“B-but I caused Your Grace a wound…”
“That doesn’t matter. Shushu, are you alright?”

My head was foggy, and I didn’t know what to say.
Just then, Ron, who was treating Rena, shouted.
“Shushu, Rena has woken up!”
I rushed over to Rena.
Rena, whom I hadn’t seen in a long time, had lost her glossy fur and had transformed into a thin, wounded fox.
She looked like she hadn’t eaten properly, with her skin clinging to her bones.
On her neck, there were scabs and matted fur where shackles had been for a long time.
Her once proud and beautiful eyes were now gazing at me, unfocused and dim.
“R-Rena… why have you become like this?”
Tears fell heavily.
I placed my front paws on Rena’s feet. I frantically summoned my healing power and poured it into Rena.
A brilliant light enveloped Rena.

My vision blurred with tears.

Rena twitched her body and coughed, then pushed away my front paws.

Just then, Yudis brought a blanket and covered Rena.
