Chapter 174
Of course.
“Hello, wizard.”
Ashtel faced a slender man with violet hair as he stepped into the dark underground prison.
She smiled warmly and winked seductively, but the wizard stiffened and furrowed his brows, as if he’d seen something he shouldn’t have.
“…Succubus?”
“The prisoner is holding a communicator. Can you operate it?”
“Ah, yes. Well, I suppose I can figure it out.”
The wizard approached Ashtel and knelt on one knee. His sharp amethyst eyes seemed to silently ask her,
‘Why are you here?’
Ashtel returned the look with a confident smile.
“What’s your name?”
“Roman.”
“Nice to meet you, Roman.”
Is this our first time meeting in person? Ashtel realized her gamble had just hit the jackpot.
There aren’t many wizards in the Roxa Empire, but fewer than five would be considered skilled.
Among them, only one was daring and talented enough to enter the temple’s inner sanctum—at least as far as Ashtel knew.
“If you use this, you’ll be able to connect with my sister.”
“Your sister’s name?”
“Carmen.”
The wizard, dressed in a gray suit, sighed deeply and shot a secretive glance at Ashtel, avoiding Van’s sight.
Ashtel continued speaking with a smile:
“Sis Carmen will help connect you to Duvalkan.”
You get what I mean, right?

At that moment, Payne was breathing heavily, bound hand and foot in a stable somewhere.
“He looks a bit different, but that’s definitely the wanted priest.”
“Yeah? The drawing didn’t do him any favors.”
“To drain a succubus’s power, you need a face like that.”
Three men standing before him chuckled and poked him.
“Hey there, priest. We know you’re awake.”
“Open your eyes now, or we’ll throw cold water on you.”
Reluctantly, Payne lifted his heavy eyelids. His blurry vision sharpened as he glared upward.
The farmers who’d held him captive were gone, replaced by three unfamiliar men smirking.
“A fallen priest, huh? Rare material for sure.”
“Could be quite lucrative.”
Probably, the temple put a bounty on him to eliminate him for contacting demons, but greedy townsfolk refused to hand him over easily.
‘Slave traders, maybe.’
He had heard of ruthless groups who bought and sold humans like demons.
He hadn’t expected they’d come after someone with a bounty.
“Look at his legs—looks like he’s still feeling the demon’s touch.”
“For a priest, he’s been living the good life.”
“But are we really allowed to keep him instead of handing him over to the temple?”
“Who cares? One priest won’t make a difference.”
A long staff poked Payne’s thigh and then prodded his e***t member.
Unlike when Ashtel touched him, he shook violently, overwhelmed by intense discomfort and shame, and pushed the staff away.
“He’s still lively enough to annoy the noble ladies.”
“Is the carriage ready? We should leave town fast.”
“Not sure what’s going on, but there are knights stationed here. We need to check the situation.”
“Damn temple bastards…”
Thankfully, they stopped tormenting him. Rumor had it some would even touch men, but these weren’t like that.
Payne breathed a sigh of relief, then shut his eyes tight in despair.
“Looks like you’ve been through some rough times. Naked, do you even have a brand down there?”
“Haha, a brand would be lucky. Might be mutated.”
“Ugh, gross.”
Payne bit his lip as the men laughed and continued talking.
The brand was a mark of s****l torture succubi brand on their captives— a kind of slave contract, signaling the demon owned not just the body but the soul.
The thought of having such a thing on his own body filled him with disgust.
Yet he couldn’t fight back in his current state.
How many things they said were wrong?
He had been seduced by Ashtel, shared his body with her multiple times, and was still in heat, which explained why he was still e***t.
A disgraceful body—better if it just disappeared.
Payne wheezed, lowering his head.
His head throbbed with dizziness.
‘Am I just going to be sold off like this?’
He wanted to resist, but divine power was useless right now.
He might startle the merchants, but he wouldn’t break free from the ropes binding his arms and legs.
“Looks like you’re pretty rough around the edges.”
One man eyed Payne closely and ordered,
“Call the maids to get this prisoner cleaned up.”
