But Van, as if nothing fazed him, kept his stoic expression and stared straight at Moablon.

“Our sweet youngest told me not to kill you, so I won’t go overboard. Consider yourself lucky, alright?”

“I never begged for my life. I’m already in the demon realm. You might as well kill me and send me back to the human realm.”

“You really should value your life more, you know.”

A demon lecturing him on the value of life—how absurd.

The veins stood out on Van’s smooth forehead.

Before he could respond, Duvalkan bowed his head and pleaded.

“Um, demon, please… don’t hurt him too much. Van doesn’t really have anything against Miss Maid, I swear!”

“Diar!”

What kind of paladin bows his head to a demon?

Van couldn’t hide his horror at Duvalkan’s change and scolded him.

“What are you saying? Even if I break, I will never beg for mercy. Even if I collapse right here….”

Just then, Moablon’s face darkened, and twisted, charcoal-gray horns sprouted from behind her forehead. Massive leather wings, far larger than Ashtel’s, unfurled with a single flap, radiating menace.

With death suddenly looming over him, Van clamped his mouth shut and glared at Moablon, his hands trembling into fists.

“You’ve got guts, I’ll give you that.”

Moablon said, slowly stepping toward Van.

“But let’s see how long that lasts.”

No sooner had Duvalkan squeezed his eyes shut than Moablon snapped her whip down on Van.

He barely stifled a groan, but as his clothes were shredded and fell to the floor, he dropped his head, burning with humiliation.

His long hair fell forward like a curtain, but even that only lasted a moment.

Moablon snapped her fingers, and several daggers appeared, hovering in midair.

As a rain of blades came down, Van gritted his teeth and bore the pain, tensing his body.

Like Duvalkan, his well-trained muscles shuddered but showed no sign of breaking as wound after wound was inflicted.

Blood trickled down his body like rain, and his black hair, cut in patches, looked like a river at night.

Moablon grabbed his chin, forcing him to look at her.

“Do you like pain, or do you prefer not to hurt?”

“…”

“You need to answer. Otherwise, how am I supposed to know what you like?”

“Screw you.”

If Duvalkan was amusing to break, Van was someone worth taming. Moablon gave a sharp laugh, then licked Van’s cheek with her tongue.

Blood dripping from his wounds mixed with her saliva, leaving his face a mess.

Blood dripped from Van’s clenched fist onto the floor.

“You’re trembling. Are you scared?”

“It’s just because you’re disgusting.”

“Unlike your friend, you have a filthy mouth.”

Moablon glanced at Duvalkan, who avoided Van’s gaze in shame.

Seeing his friend writhing, hips twitching thanks to the still-vibrating d***o, Van closed his eyes in agony.

Suddenly, Moablon grabbed Van’s g***n, making his eyes snap open in fury.

“Let go.”

“That’s no way to ask.”

“I said let go, you filthy, vulgar—”

Smack! Without mercy, Moablon slapped Van’s p***s with her open palm.

The pain was blinding—he couldn’t help but cry out, twisting his neck away.

He took a deep breath and glared up at her again.

Without warning, she struck him again.

“Ugh!”

“For you, I’ll teach you some manners—personally.”

She said, punctuating each word by slapping his swollen, battered member.

Smack, smack, smack! Each time, Van’s body jerked and he shook his head. His p***s, already badly swollen, now hung limp and red, threatening to burst.

The pain was overwhelming, but the humiliation of his pathetic state was worse.

Despite that, his blood-red eyes still burned with fury and murderous intent as he glared at Moablon.

“No matter what you do, you’ll never get any information out of me.”

Van seemed unbreakable, but Duvalkan, watching from beside him, could see the truth.

It’s hopeless. This is all hopeless, he thought.

Moablon, who’d turned his virgin body into that of a prostitute, would have him begging for release in less than an hour. Van, though, stubbornly insisted on taking the painful road, which made Duvalkan pity him.

At the same time, he worried about Payne back in the human world.

‘Father Payne, I hope you’re alright’

It was Payne’s divine power that allowed him to survive this long.

Carmen had lent him a relic that blocked demonic energy, but it was only semi-permanent—it would lose its power eventually.

Duvalkan had managed to keep his sanity thanks to the faint shield Payne had provided.

But Van didn’t have even that.

‘Surely he won’t fall… right?’

A human tainted by demonic energy would lose their mind, transforming into a monster doomed to serve demons forever.

Even if it wasn’t by direct corruption, they still considered those tainted by demonic energy to be lost. For a priest, it was the worst fate imaginable.

Every time Moablon’s whip came down, Duvalkan held his breath and watched Van writhe in pain.

If Van wanted to survive, he’d have to give in and bow his head to these demons—and the sooner, the better.
