Suddenly, the world seemed to stop.

The sky and earth seemed to change.

Ashtel gasped, her mouth open in shock.
What did Payne just say?
He accepted her offer?

Payne sighed deeply.

“Wait, Father Payne!”
Ashtel hurriedly caught hold of him after he gave a greeting in a neat and polite way.

She had caught him because she hadn’t yet asked about the dream.
‘But how do I bring it up?’
Noticing the shadows under Payne’s eyes, she hesitated and spoke.
“Have you considered why your body suddenly reacted this way?”

As she trailed off hesitantly, Payne’s expression darkened.

She feigned shock and covered her mouth.
Ashtel’s acting might have been poor, but Payne, who was downcast, did not notice.
“So, you’re not going to a doctor? It could be an illness.”

Indeed, it was more an excessive reaction to pheromones than a curse.
