With that, Nina composed herself and looked confidently up at Ravian, who was eyeing her suspiciously.
“My mother entrusted it to me. She said if someone stole it, it would be a big problem, so I always kept it on me.”
Of course, it was a lie.
Even if the sky fell, Diana would never entrust such an important item to Nina.
Perhaps not even to Estella.

Ravian chuckled, lighting a cigarette as he sat on the sofa.

“Whatever, what’s new with your blabbering… But did you know her?”
“Not really. Anyway, she said it’s Mercy’s younger sister. Is it true?”
“Whether it’s true or not, what does it matter? Get over here.”
Right now, Ravian didn’t want to talk about Nina with Serena or anyone else.
No, he didn’t even want to think about Nina.
