“Ugh…”
Roina groggily opened her eyes. Her whole body creaked as if it were about to break.

Roina suddenly realized that this was the first time since coming to this world that wounds remained even after a night. Her body originally returned to its original state overnight, no matter what kind of wound it was. Roina threw on the shirt that Ryuhyeon had teasingly given her and then quickly taken off, and observed the surroundings in detail. There must be a gap somewhere.
Faint sounds were heard from outside the door. It seemed Ryuhyeon was there. Roina stealthily strained her ears in that direction.

As the ending neared, the sub-male lead, Lutan, suddenly became the final villain, died, and it ended abruptly. Then, at least the original heroine, Veronica, should have been happy, but she, who seemed nice but had a chilling vibe throughout the original story, ends up being obsessively imprisoned by the crown prince.
There’s even a backstory that the protagonist used to prevent the empire’s destruction. Apparently, Veronica played a crucial role in the first emperor’s contract in her past life.
“Ugh, I’m dying from work, and I took time out to read this.”
A tired sigh escaped my lips.
A novel I read to relieve stress ended up weird. To be honest, I knew the crown prince would be like this. That bastard gave off a really creepy vibe. I liked the genuine Lutan better.
‘If only he hadn’t suddenly turned into an evil golden dragon…’
I smiled bitterly. Somehow, it felt like even that was the crown prince’s scheme. Right before that, there was a scene jump after Veronica said to Lutan, “I’ll find out your true identity, so just relax.”
Every year at the New Year’s celebration, the royals renew their contract with the gods, and right after that ritual, he became a golden dragon and went on a rampage. I want to know what happened, but this unfriendly novel didn’t properly explain the whole story.
“Let’s just finish work first.”
I made a strong cup of coffee and returned to my monitor. I couldn’t sleep now if I wanted to finish within the deadline. My vision blurred for a moment since I had been cutting back on sleep for several days, but I shook my head vigorously and focused on work again. I had no idea that I would collapse like that soon after.
Roina sorted out the memories she had vaguely recalled. The existence of the maid Roina doesn’t exist in this original novel. The current Veronica was just a shadow imitating her.
What if the reason why the entire original plot was twisted from the beginning was because of Roina herself?
