Chapter 206
As Roina left Lutan’s room and moved to meet Ethan, the Tower with a will moved smoothly and led her to Ethan.
He was sitting at a table in a guest room, and in the meantime, he had washed up and was wearing a neat shirt and pants. Having spent a long time without his sanity, he seemed awkward with it, and he fidgeted with his shirt collar.
“You’ve come.”
“Yes.”
Roina wore a smile on her lips.
“I said I would help Ethan-nim, right?”
“Yes. You did.”
There was no longer hesitation in Ethan’s eyes as he replied. There was only calmness. Roina looked at him intently and continued.
“There will be a price to pay. Is that alright?”
“Yes.”
He nodded with a firm face. Roina picked up a teacup that suddenly appeared before her, moistened her lips, and then spoke.
“I want you to make a contract with me, Ethan.”
“A contract… you say?”
“Yes, not a normal contract, but a magical one.”
Roina spoke as casually as possible. But unlike repeating to herself that it was nothing, she felt her thighs involuntarily tense up, as if she was nervous. She swallowed hard.
“And… my mana is circulating in a slightly broken way, so I have no choice but to use a somewhat unconventional method.”
‘I think I’m getting a little hot…’
She seemed to be embarrassed after all. Roina thought her face might be slightly flushed. Whether he knew her feelings or not, Ethan asked her with a serious face.
“What is that?”
“…S****l union.”
With her face completely red, Roina turned her head to the side and looked at the floor. She didn’t have the confidence to look directly at Ethan’s expression. Ethan, upon hearing her words, seemed a little surprised, his eyes widening and his mouth slightly open.
“Please listen without any strange thoughts. The Crown Prince changed my constitution…”
“I will do it.”
Roina whipped her head up. Ethan had been looking at her all along from the beginning. With eyes filled with ardent desire.
“If I unite with you, will the contract be fulfilled?”
“-It will be fulfilled with the strongest bond. But I, I have to say this one thing first.”
Roina hurriedly raised her palm in front of Ethan’s eyes. It was to mean, ‘Wait a moment and listen.’
“There’s a high probability that I won’t love you.”
Ethan closed his lips tightly. Roina couldn’t possibly not know. How could she not notice a man’s heated gaze? She was the one who had even tried to seduce him with ill intentions for a moment. But she didn’t know why the feelings she thought had disappeared were now resurfacing.
“In the end, it’s just a connection through our bodies. Will you be okay with that?”
“If I do that, you will help me revive the Castrello Kingdom, right?”
“Yes.”
Roina nodded her head up and down. Ethan’s face darkened a little, then he suddenly grasped Roina’s hand. It was a similar touch to the one in the prison earlier. Not knowing his intentions, Roina stared at him with a hesitant expression.
“I’m okay with it. Because there’s no reason not to.”
If it hadn’t been for Roina, he would still be a mindless monster in the basement of the Imperial Palace, or he would have taken his own life. It was a life he wouldn’t have had if it weren’t for her, so not being reciprocated in his feelings was nothing. At least, at the moment of the contract, he could touch her and desire her, couldn’t he?
Ethan stood up as he was and slipped his other hand under Roina’s knees, lifting her up. Surprised by the sudden movement, Roina let out a short “Kyaa!” and grabbed his shoulders.
“E-Ethan! Mmph!”
His warm and soft male lips were placed over hers. His hot breath swallowed even her small scream.
His hands supported and stroked Roina’s back, and her body, which had become sensitive in order to absorb mana, tingled all over at his touch.
“Ugh, mmm…”
While she was out of her mind, the place was changed. At some point, when she came to her senses, she was on the bed in the guest room. Even though she was the one who brought up the topic first, Roina was flustered and blinked at the rapid progress.
Ethan, on top of her, unbuttoned a few of the top buttons of his shirt, then frowned, as if it didn’t suit his personality, and pulled it over his head, taking it off in one go.
