Chapter 30

“Undress, Lenasia.”
She slipped off the gown, thin as a dragonfly’s wing, and lay naked on the bed.
Soon, Godfrid, likewise unclothed, climbed on top of her. His center was rigidly e***t from the start, and before long, the bed began to sway along with Lena’s pained moans.
“Ah, ah!”
Tormented by an unbearable sensation, she decided to put the plan she had just resolved upon into action.
“Hmp…”
“…What did you just do?”
With himself still inside her, Godfrid lifted his upper body slightly and asked.
“Are you biting my shoulder?”
“I, I am sorry.”
Lena immediately let go and whimpered. Godfrid looked once at her face, then once more at his shoulder where the teeth marks remained, and traced the mark with his fingertips.
The small bite mark looked truly insignificant upon his broad shoulder.
“Why did you do that?”
“It, it felt too good… I could not bear it.”
Godfrid paused for a moment. Because he had turned his head, Lena could not see his expression, but soon a low voice reached her.
“Well done. In the future, when that happens, you may bite my shoulder to endure it.”
“…?”
“Although, it would be better to let your voice out freely.”
Lena blinked in bewilderment. A slave with neither home nor country had wounded the body of the supreme emperor, and yet he was telling her to do it more.
Lena, who had expected him to let it pass but forbid her from ever doing it again, was truly taken aback. But she had no time to think further, as Godfrid once again began moving back and forth inside and outside of her.
“Uht, uh, aah!”
With something so large moving within her and driving her out of her senses, Lena soon had to bite his shoulder again.
Having fainted, unable to endure the bedchamber with him as always, she opened her eyes in Godfrid’s arms. It was the dark of night, with the entire imperial palace asleep.
His firm chest rose and fell slowly with even breaths. Close enough to feel his breathing, Lena discovered that his downturned lashes were unexpectedly long, that the bridge of his nose rose straight, and that his closed jaw drew a balanced line.
When his eyes had been open, she had been too afraid of that yellow glare to properly look at his face.
His thick shoulder was filled with red bite marks. Seeing them, the emperor felt less formidable than before. And once again, her resolve to harm him came to mind.
“Ngh…”
Lena struggled to escape from his embrace.
His limbs, packed with muscle, were heavy, and whenever she squirmed to slip away, even in his sleep he would pull her back with those strong arms, making her small attempt at independence no easy task.
By the time she finally reached an empty spot on the vast bed, tiny beads of sweat had formed on her pale skin.
“Huk, huk.”
She could not do it normally, but with Godfrid asleep, Lena was able to glare at him with eyes full of hatred.
She hated him. She hated him so much, and yet she was so cowardly that she could only carry out such petty revenge, and she found herself pathetic.
She tugged at the blanket covering Godfrid. Though she had to struggle just the same, it was far easier to steal the blanket than it had been to escape his arms.
She wrapped the soft white sheet around herself in two layers.
Then, an inexplicable sense of satisfaction washed over her, and sleep came rushing in.

When he awoke, Godfrid saw Lenasia beside him, rolled up in the blanket and sleeping soundly.
He gave a faint chuckle and quietly prepared to go out.
An imperial attendant entered with wash water and a towel. Just as he washed his face and stood to change his clothes, a slender arm slipped out from the bed and caught his hand.
“Your Majesty.”
“What is it, Lenasia?”
“Don’t go…”
As she murmured and stretched out both arms, the blanket slipped down, revealing her round shoulders and the gentle swell of her upper chest.
The attendant hastily shut his eyes and turned away, and Godfrid, after shooting him a fierce glare, changed his expression and looked down at Lena.
“Stay by my side just a little longer.”
As she whimpered, the edges of his pupils suddenly widened in the center of his golden eyes.
He had always taken her by force, so he had no grounds to say otherwise, but the princess who had always pushed his body away or avoided his eyes had never before been the first to ask him to stay like this.
The moment he realized it, strength was already gathering at the center of his body. Godfrid gave the order to clear the room in a low, sunken voice.
“Leave.”
“Yes, Your Majesty.”
