He took a large step toward her. Psyche flinched and stepped back.

He looked beyond relaxed, almost languid. Psyche glared at him and then laughed incredulously.

She pressed her lips firmly shut. After a brief silence, a voice tinged with anger settled between them.
“You have never even given me a formal apology. But what? You think you’ll be able to stand by my side someday?”

“Do you…… have anything like a conscience at all? No, I suppose you don’t, which is why you could do such things without a second thought.”
Silence flowed again. This really is the worst. Coming here only to experience this. Just as Psyche was thinking this and about to push him away.
“A formal apology.”
Rezus’s lips, which had been staring at her with an unreadable expression, opened.

But again, he fell silent. He just looked down at her with an indecipherable gaze. It wasn’t a look of someone suffering from guilt. Nor was it a look of someone wanting forgiveness.
