Gasp! Saying something like that to interior designers is truly dangerous.

It makes you want to go on a wild spending spree!

But my father is capable of handling such statements.

Thanks to the profits from the distribution of white crystals, we were already at a chaebol-level wealth even before becoming a count family.

“Do it well, but make sure to hire reputable contractors since they’ll be coming in and out of the house.”

“Yes, Your Excellency.”

Michelan respectfully replied as he accepted the checkbook from Dad.

‘Your Excellency …! Ah, such a sweet title.’

Dad is now ‘His Excellency’.

He’s a count, after all.

You can’t use the title ‘Your Excellency’ for a baronet.

And since Dad is a count, I’m now Lady Astra, daughter of the Count!

‘Who would dare call me the dirty blood of Astra now?’

Of course, even before, few dared to say such things openly, thanks to my brothers.

But there’s a difference between being too scared to say it and being unable to because I’m now the Count’s daughter.

Heeheehee.

I chuckled mischievously, my grin resembling that of a villain, when Balzac asked,

“Lottie, which room will you use? The middle room on the second floor? Or the one by the window?”

“Hmm, I dunno? I haven’t thought about it yet.”

“What? After all that wandering around the house, you didn’t even pick a room? I was planning to take the room next to yours.”

“What nonsense. The room next to Erylotte’s is mine,” Joshua interjected.

At that, Lysmond quietly approached as well.

“I’m the eldest, so it’s mine.”

While the three brothers engaged in a brief standoff, Michelan walked over to me from the other side of the room.

Thud-thud-thud.

I ran over to him and noticed he was holding something.

“Young Lady, I was about to bring this to you.”

“It’s fine. I was tired of watching my brothers fight anyway. What is it?”

“An invitation from the Lily Garden.”

How Michelan managed to produce such a thing so soon after we moved in, I didn’t know.

The sparkling silver tray he carried was a testament to his competence.

Michelan handed me the invitation on the silver tray.

The seal on the envelope featured a lily emblem.

Rustle.

Carefully peeling off the wax seal, I opened the envelope and was greeted by the delicate scent of lilies.

‘The Lily Garden, huh.’

The Lily Garden was a famous gathering.

A party held once a month, exclusively for the daughters of central nobles who were minors.

Receiving an invitation on the very day we moved into the estate was as good as a public announcement that the central nobles had their eyes on us.

They had likely been paying attention since Dad received his military service medal and the count title, as well as when Michelan began looking for a house in Zone 1.

‘Interesting.’

Hoohoohoo.

I couldn’t help but let out a laugh that sounded like it belonged to the daughter of a villain.

‘Wait, no, I’m the protagonist now!’

“Will you attend?” Michelan asked.

I answered without hesitation.

“Of course!”

The Lily Garden is a networking haven for the daughters of central nobles—there was no reason not to attend.

But there was one problem…

“For a party like this, I’ll need a partner, won’t I?”

“That’s correct.”

“What do I do? I don’t know a single young nobleman in the capital.”

“Many attendees come with their siblings.”

“Oh, I see…”

In that case, there’s no problem.

I have three older brothers.

‘It’s a relief not to worry about a partner.’

But then.

A foreboding feeling crept up.

As I chatted with Michelan, I turned to look at my brothers.

“The room next to Erylotte’s is mine!”

“Are you stupid? There are two rooms—one on the left and one on the right. If you give up, Lysmond and I can—”

“I’m not giving up.”

‘……’

They were still arguing over the rooms.

But surely… they wouldn’t argue over who gets to be my partner for the party, right?

Ignoring their bickering, I continued my conversation with Michelan, determined to pretend I didn’t see them.

I believed my brothers weren’t so childish.

That belief was my mistake.

I had no idea.

***

From that day forward, on every monthly Lily Garden gathering, a fierce battle would break out among the three sons of Daymond Astra over who would accompany Erylotte as her partner.

Thus began the infamous Lily Garden Mayhem Incident, recorded in history.
