Surely, he had given up now.
A woman who is depressed, covered in scars, unable to bear children, and on the run from her past for committing sin. If she had any sense of decency, she knew it was time to leave his life for good.
“Kyden, are you really going to sleep there?”
But why did she still feel so greedy? Why did she cling to him so desperately? Since she would be leaving, couldn’t she hold him one last time?
The forbidden and irrational desire surged within her. She felt disgusted with herself but decided to indulge one last time.
“…Sleep with me. I’m cold.”
“…”
“Kyden, I’m scared. I can’t sleep alone…”
She played the pitiful card, knowing he couldn’t refuse. It was a truly manipulative and cowardly act.
For the sake of keeping one last memory, to satisfy her selfish desire, she called him to the bed.
“Kyden…”
Finally, Kyden reluctantly stood up. He looked down at her from the foot of the bed, his face contorted with frustration. His stern expression showed the turmoil he felt inside, unsure of what to do.
Roel, with a flushed face, reached out her arms as if begging for a hug. It didn’t matter anymore if he despised her. Before, she was too afraid of his rejection, but now, having let everything go, she purely longed for him.
“Sleep here. Stay with me, please?”
“…You think you can just get away with this?”
“I’m sorry, just for tonight. Just this once, I’ll be selfish.”
A large hand grabbed her by the back of the neck, pulling her close. Roel was drawn to his face by his strong grip.
“I’ll let it go this time. But don’t ever say you’ll leave me again.”
“…”
“Do you understand? Say you won’t leave, and I’ll do anything. Please, say you will.”
Kyden growled, his face inches from hers. He demanded her promise or else he won’t move.
Once again, they were back at square one. Unable to resolve anything, unable to hold her securely, standing defeated before her.
Roel’s tears welled up, not out of fear of his anger but out of sorrow and regret. The pain in her chest was suffocating.
Why does he still hold on? She said she’d leave, isn’t it infuriating? She is a woman who can’t easily have children, doesn’t he find her useless?
Just treat her harshly, vent all his anger, curse her for being a terrible woman, and forget her.
“…Just hold me. Please.”
Roel looked at him with bloodshot eyes, pleading as she pulled him closer. Her lips brushed gently against his tightly closed ones.
A trembling breath touched him, spreading a warm, tingling sensation throughout his body.
Kyden’s lips quivered. His cold gaze softened as he looked at her clinging to him.
The cruel and harsh feelings faded away, replaced by tenderness and deep affection.
He wanted to be angry, but he couldn’t. The small woman who shook his emotions so intensely was impossible to hate.
Once again, he was the one to give in first. Her wounded state made her seem pitiable; her trembling small hands evoked his compassion. He pulled her into his arms.
He stroked Roel’s thin back, looking into her tear-filled eyes.
Don’t be in pain. Don’t cry.
Roel’s lips parted, and Kyden delved into her mouth. Her body fell backward under his forceful kiss.
“Ha…”
He climbed on top of her, not wanting to part even for a moment. While undressing, he continued to kiss her passionately.
He parted her lips, pulled her tongue, and swallowed her breath. Unsatisfied, he rubbed his lips against her flushed eyes and earlobes.
“Ha…ha…”
He bit her slender neck, hurriedly pulling off her clothes in one swift motion. He grabbed her flesh and sucked on her b*****s.
“Ahh…”
Her soft moans fueled his arousal.
He wanted to devour her, to consume the small, fragile body gasping in his hands. He wanted to leave his marks all over her delicate skin.
Kyden licked the wounds on Roel’s legs. The pain from her unhealed injuries sent a shiver through her.

She flinched in surprise, and he looked down at her with a pained smile. Between her spread legs, her wet folds were fully exposed. The lascivious fluid dripped down her b******s, soaking the bed.

Tears welled up in her eyes as she looked up at him, her shame forgotten in her desperation. She twisted her hips and spread her legs wider.
