Asta gritted his teeth, facing Izzen who was throwing his own words back at him.
“You were watching, weren’t you? You got scared and hid, just watching, and then when the woman was in danger, you rushed out belatedly and tried to act like a hero? You made a mistake, Izzen. You should have just endured it and kept watching cowardly, like you always do. Do you think a weakling like you can beat me?”

Asta growled and lowered his stance, ready to attack, and lunged at Izzen. Izzen hastily held his staff horizontally to block Asta’s attack. But Asta easily swatted it away. The staff flew and rolled on the floor with a clatter. Asta immediately grabbed Izzen by the neck and slammed him against the wall.
The entire warehouse shook with a thud. Izzen swallowed a scream, in pain from hitting his back against the wall and having his neck squeezed. He tried to endure it, but blood trickled down from the corner of his mouth. But Izzen suppressed the pain and smiled. He smiled and mocked his opponent.
“Are you weaker than you were before, Asta? Looks like you’re getting old.”
“You insane bastard.”
