Chapter 56
“Will it go well…….”
Heesu, lying on her bed again, tossed and turned with an anxious expression. Tonight, she absolutely didn’t want to regret like last night. That’s why she kept worrying. Though she had agreed because Violen’s suggested method seemed better, the fact that she had to take risks again made her uneasy. She kept having lingering regrets about the certain method of stabbing his belly.
“If you’re that anxious, how about taking out some insurance?”
“Insurance?! What’s that?”
At Violen’s words as he sat on the bed, Heesu jumped up and asked with delight. For someone facing a big task with risks, there was nothing more appealing than the word “insurance.”
Violen looked back at such a Heesu and grinned, then wrapped his arms around her waist and pulled her close. Heesu’s body was drawn in and the distance between them quickly closed. The pretty face that came close to within a span whispered mischievously.
“Wouldn’t it be better to endure if we do it to the limit first?”
“……Huh?”
“To the point where you think you can’t do it twice again for a while.”
When the flustered Heesu tried to pull her body away, another arm wrapped around her waist from behind, firmly trapping her body. He had no intention of letting her go. Before she knew it, his lips had come within half a span. The flustered Heesu hurriedly pushed her hand between them to quickly block between their lips.
Violen stayed frozen while staring at such a Heesu, then pulled his body away. His childishly mischievous expression had instantly become cold. A voice tinged with similar coldness flowed out.
“Why, do you dislike it?”
“No, that’s…….”
“He was supposedly so good, so now you can’t be satisfied with me?”
“That’s not it…….”
Heesu avoided his gaze and groaned, not knowing what to do.
She knew that Violen had another side, but since she was so accustomed to his usual gentle and kind appearance, facing this side made her scared first. But she didn’t want to cause the same misunderstanding as before, so Heesu steeled herself and looked at him again.
“I don’t dislike it. I want to. But…… I want to do it after transforming.”
At those words, Violen’s expression became subtle. The swirling coldness subsided but his expression wasn’t completely relaxed either. Lately, Violen often made that expression. Every time Heesu came out like this.
“I don’t mind.”
“I dislike it…….”
Heesu hung her head low with a troubled expression.
This body and that body are different. That was the last line Heesu was drawing. She was living promiscuous days that she couldn’t have imagined before—being violated by all sorts of demons and constantly being intimate with Violen—but even so, Heesu didn’t think she had become dirty or corrupted. Because this body and that body are different. That body was a body that would disappear someday, and her real body was this one.
On that one line, daily life and deviation, reality and unreality, purity and debauchery, ethics and immorality, moments as a magical girl and the life the original Heesu would live, the world Heesu had briefly stepped into and the world she would have to return to someday—all these countless things were precariously distinguished.
If that line were erased, the things barely held back by the dam would collapse and surge, driving Heesu to a cliff. Heesu had absolutely no confidence she could handle that.
It wasn’t that she hadn’t thought about whether she should allow Violen to cross that boundary.
But even aside from such problems, Heesu was scared.
This body and that body are different. This body isn’t pretty. Her face was ordinary at best, and her figure was chubby at best. Even though she was losing weight bit by bit lately, compared to that body, it was so shabby it couldn’t even reach the toes.
Her limbs were shorter yet chubbier, her chest was much smaller yet her belly protruded. Her skin wasn’t good either. It was completely different from that body which was soft and elastic wherever you touched. Even her hair felt dry and rough compared to that body where every strand was smooth. Everything was different—too different.
That scared her. Violen said he didn’t mind, but even so, Heesu was scared.
What if, just what if, even if Violen didn’t care about such appearance, what if they kissed and he felt the tongue or lips had a different texture? What if he touched her body and realized the skin wasn’t soft or elastic? What if after insertion, the feeling of being wrapped and squeezed was different, transmitting less pleasure and he cooled off?
Naturally, it wasn’t just the appearance that was different. The contents were all different too. It was a body where everything from the tongue and inside of the mouth to the v****a and inner walls would all be shaped differently. So all the various what-ifs that she couldn’t help but think about—Heesu was scared of them.
But among those countless thoughts, there wasn’t a single one she could show Violen, so in the end, Heesu could only keep her lips tightly closed and hang her head.
“Alright.”
Eventually, the one who broke the silence first was, as always, Violen.
“Sorry, I wasn’t trying to make you uncomfortable. If you dislike it, I won’t force you.”
“Yeah.”
Heesu nodded and opened her compact with a dejected expression. Soon light poured out from within and enveloped her body. Her hair flowed long and transformed into sparkling pink, and the clothes Heesu was wearing glowed white and disappeared. And then…….
“Huh?”
Violen’s hand overlapped hers and closed the compact. Then he immediately pushed Heesu’s shoulders and toppled her onto the bed.
