The parchment said that Duke Gerard would not wake up until the next morning due to the powerful sleeping potion.
However, who could be sure? Duke Gerard might have developed a tolerance from frequent use of sleeping aids.
Reyna suddenly felt scared. What if Duke Gerard wakes up to find a stranger handling his member? If he was to wake up now, it would be the worst possible moment.

“I need to find something to bind him.”

With a dry mouth, Reyna got off the bed and surveyed the tools then grabbed the restraints. After binding Duke Gerard’s arms to the headboard, she felt a small sense of relief.
Although Duke Gerard would likely be able to free himself from such flimsy restraints quickly, it might buy her a second or two. Reyna reassured herself and knelt beside Duke Gerard once more.
But then,
“Hmm?”
