Chapter 115
Calix, leaving the Empress’s Palace with a murderous look as if he might commit murder at any moment, caught sight of Eric waiting for him and lifted the corner of his mouth ever so slightly.
It wasn’t a smile of ridicule toward Eric, but rather because he realized that the reason this man remained was because of Lea.
“I’m going to Lea’s palace.”
With that short command, he strode forward without hesitation. The palace staff secretly watched him as he passed by. He’s not with Ilion as usual, but with Eric at his side.
Calix intended to get rid of his rising irritation by spending time with Lea. However, the moment he entered her palace, his irritation doubled.
He saw Lea sitting on the sofa, holding Zion’s hands in both of hers and guiding him. Moreover, Zion was kneeling as if he were receiving something sacred, bowing his head.
When Calix saw Zion’s ears, faintly flushed red, his lips twisted completely out of shape.
“I’m here, Sister. Maybe it’s because you’re rumored to be such an excellent Guide, but you’re working hard, aren’t you?”
At his words, Lea, who had been guiding with her eyes closed, looked up at him in surprise.
He stretched out comfortably, resting his head on Lea’s thigh as she sat on the sofa, nuzzling his face against her like a child seeking affection. At his gesture, Lea let out a silent scream.
“Ha, I’m so tired. Guide me too, please.”
Whenever he acted spoiled like this, Lea could do nothing, like a small animal caught in a trap. All she could do was obediently fulfill what he asked.
“Please give me your hand, Your Highness.”
“Not your hand. Do it with your lips, Sister.”
The sly curve of his lips looked just like a perfectly ripe cherry, so without realizing it, Lea lowered her head and took his lips in hers.
With a sticky sound as their saliva mixed, powerful guiding energy rushed into his mouth. The sensation was so ecstatic it felt as if her brain might melt. No matter how many times she guided him, far from getting tired of it, she felt she could become addicted, lost in it.
After briefly brushing through his mouth, Lea wiped the saliva from her lips with the back of her hand and muttered the results of her guiding analysis.
“…You don’t need any more guiding, Your Highness.”
She’d already guided him countless times when they had slept together. Someone like that wouldn’t need guiding just because they’d been apart for a short while.
“That’s a shame. Still, your lips belong to me, so don’t ever share them with anyone else.”
Completely reclining with his head on her thigh, Calix threaded his fingers through hers and, as if bestowing a favor, held out her hand in front of Zion.
“Even just touching your fingers is enough for guiding, isn’t it?”
Taking Lea’s hand, he poked Zion’s forehead with it. Every time he did, guiding energy flowed out of her regardless of her will, and Zion’s expression changed in various ways.
Behind them, Derek and Eric watched Calix’s openly possessive attitude and felt a strong surge of jealousy. But they couldn’t show it.
Their own Guide was obediently nodding at Calix’s words, after all.
Seeming very satisfied with that, Calix smiled, then let out a sigh, turned his body, and wrapped his arms around her waist, closing his eyes.
“Sister, my head hurts because of Her Majesty.”
It was just something he said offhand, to justify staying there, but suddenly, as he felt a hand on his shoulder, his eyes shot open wide. Lea’s expression was very serious.
“Your Highness, if you’re tired, you may lie down on my bed for a while.”
“…But I like it here.”
“Your Highness’s guiding is finished, so I need to continue guiding the Young Duke. I’m so glad you understand.”
Her calmly spoken words gave Calix a strange feeling, as if she hadn’t really understood him. Sensing something was off, he called for Rose to take Calix to her bedroom, then, with a focused expression, continued guiding Zion.
Her expression was so serious that he couldn’t interfere anymore, though he couldn’t stop a hollow laugh from escaping.
So, you’re saying you’ll continue guiding him right in front of me. From now on, too.
