Chapter 200
“…Ha.”
While Lea was preoccupied with licking his wound, Calix was left speechless at the scene unfolding on his palm. Seeing it with his own eyes, he felt strange.
Where her saliva generously coated and licked over the wound, the injury had already healed. Only a bloodstain remained, marking where the wound had once been.
After licking for some time, Lea also began to sense something was odd. She could no longer feel the split skin against the tip of her tongue. Slowly lifting her head, she saw excitement and astonishment spread across his face.
“Lea.”
“…Your Highness, I have no idea how this is happening.”
“Ha, that’s what I want to ask you.”
He clenched and opened his palm, confirming that it had completely healed. Lea, just as surprised, blankly watched him as he did so.
When he saw the wound on his hand had disappeared without a trace, he wrapped his arm around Lea’s shoulders and pulled her close, hugging her tightly into his embrace. Enveloping her with his whole body, he leaned his face against her delicate nape and whispered,
“Let’s keep this just between us.”
It was a power not unlike the holy force that once manifested when the Saintess reigned in the ancient temple. Of course, it felt different from that holy power, but Calix secretly wished Lea wouldn’t become any more skilled.
Honestly, part of him wished she would remain helpless. That way, he could keep her locked up in his palace, loving and protecting her.
Suddenly, Calix felt afraid. He feared that if her power was revealed, she would end up somewhere higher and farther away from him.
He always wanted her by his side, but he worried more people would desire her. Even now, there were plenty of Espers who annoyed him just by looking at her.
“Sister, give me a kiss.”
Clinging to Lea out of his anxiety, he pleaded. Calix, who was much larger than her, leaned his huge body into her as he spoke, and though Lea was taken aback, a deep, fulfilling joy welled up inside her.
She gently pushed his shoulder, then cupped his sharp jaw, rising up on her toes. Placing her lips beside his well-shaped mouth, she pressed them to his skin, moving slowly.
When she slipped her tongue between his slightly parted lips, Calix grabbed her waist and pulled her upper body backward.
Unlike herself, as she felt his wet flesh invade her mouth without hesitation, Lea closed her eyes. Her arms wrapped tightly around his firm shoulders. Only then did her startled, racing heart seem to calm.
Lea felt fear of her newfound power, something she hadn’t known in the past. And she wondered if Bianca might have known about it all along. For the first time, Lea found herself wanting to return to the palace.

Derek entered the tent where Tynato was to put Lea’s plan into action. Tynato, having lost all will to live, lay there, doing nothing and staring vacantly into space.
Derek approached the listless Tynato, lightly slapping his cheek to check for a response. Fortunately, when he saw Tynato’s eyes turn fierce, Derek immediately used his ability.
“Ugh…”
Doing his best to avoid any mental damage, Derek began to implant an entirely natural scenario into his mind.
The main points were as follows:
In the end, Tynato, having survived, couldn’t bear to return home in disgrace, so he gathered information based on what the Cantabrian soldiers were saying. Then, by chance, as he passed near the Commander-in-Chief’s tent, he realized something unusual was being discussed inside.
A member of the Leonis wolf tribe had come to offer a gift to the Cantabrian Crown Prince. When Tynato confirmed who it was, he became suspicious as to why they were presenting a gift. He secretly followed the departing wolf tribe to gather more information and discovered something shocking.
The Duke of Venesi had joined hands with the Second Prince, asking him to assassinate Kyle and the Crown Prince if they went to war.
Tynato couldn’t believe what he’d heard. So, he resolved to hurry back to his prince.
But he couldn’t just leave the Guides captured with him behind, so he took them and managed to escape home with great difficulty.
