Chapter 31
“I’ve been by your side constantly since you woke up. When did you have time to read such a book?”
“The Duke has been away for the past few days. I studied it thoroughly then.”
Diana retorted nonchalantly, deftly avoiding his gaze.
“Really… The moment I take my eyes off you, you do the most unimaginable things.”
“Then the Duke should watch over me himself.”
She pouted her lips, her eyes darting back to Viern’s still exposed member in the air.
“It’s still…”
Despite having already made him climax once, Diana prodded at his large, firm p***s with her fingers. Her mischievous, prodding gesture, like a baby bird pecking at feed with its beak, made Viern clench his jaw.
He found it ridiculous that he was getting aroused again by her clumsy, awkward touch, yet he didn’t stop her. Come to think of it, it had been quite a while he’d done something like this—thanks to the Princess, who would fly into a rage and interfere if he so much as brushed a hair of another woman.
So it seemed. His p***s, still boasting an impressive size and presence, stood stiffly e***t, capable of stirring her insides once more without any further stimulation.
‘Once more…’
His seething blue eyes quietly stared at the red lips he had just moved in and out of, then slowly lowered their gaze. Beneath the hem of the pure white dress, which hung loosely around her waist and had long since lost its original function, exposing her nakedness above and below, platinum-colored pubic hair was just barely, precariously peeking out.
Even though it had only been two fingers, his body grew hot on its own, remembering just how narrow and searing the flesh inside her had been.
“You know, Duke. Do you think Aisen’s is this big too?”
She asked while fiddling with his member.
“Since he’s your brother, he must look like you, right?”
“……”
At those words, Viern’s desire to do anything more with her vanished completely.
“Huh? Duke?”
He got up just like that and began straightening his disheveled clothes.
“Why are you getting dressed again? We’re still…”
“That’s enough for today.”
“What? Already?”
At his calm declaration, Diana cried out, her face full of disappointment.
“We haven’t even gotten to the putting in and thrusting part yet!”
“Too much time has been wasted. I must prepare for the State Council meeting this afternoon.”
Frowning again at her crude language, he glanced at the clock on the wall and responded.
“No, don’t go, Duke. Let’s just do a little more, okay?”
“I hope you rest comfortably for the remainder of the day.”
Despite Diana’s pleading as she clung to him with a pitiful expression, Viern affectionately yet coldly pried her hands away and turned to leave.
Thud.
Opening the door and stepping outside revealed a quiet hallway. The attendants serving the Princess bowed their heads toward Viern. Their faces showed no hint of imagining what had just transpired inside moments before.
Clack, clack.
As he walked down the corridor with measured steps, his expression gradually hardened stiffly. He couldn’t quite put his finger on it, but he felt thoroughly disgusted. The fact that he couldn’t pinpoint the reason only irritated him more.
He shouldn’t have engaged in such acts with the Princess in the first place. Viern attributed this oddly unpleasant feeling to guilt. He knew full well she liked him, yet he had done those things with her without any intention of returning her feelings…
Of course, she currently mistakenly believed she liked another man, but ultimately, when her memories returned, wouldn’t she realize her feelings for him, which she had temporarily forgotten? When that time came, she might resent him. Or perhaps, her obsession with him might intensify. Yes, that was likely. Given her blind and fervent infatuation…
“Dammit.”
Stopping abruptly in the very center of the long hallway, he irritably swept his hair back and looked back toward Diana’s room.
Surely she wouldn’t call other men in now that he had left? Considering her unpredictable temperament, it wasn’t a completely pointless worry.
It was just as he was thinking of tightening the surveillance disguised as the Princess’s protection, his fist clenched tight.
“Oh, Brother!”
Just then, Aisen, walking from the opposite direction, spotted him and hurried over to greet him.
“On your way from seeing Her Highness the Princess?”
“……”
Instead of replying to his brother’s greeting, Viern simply stared silently for a moment, then finally spoke in a chilling voice.
“You shameless scoundrel.”
“Y-Yes…?”
Startled by the voice cold enough to freeze one’s ears, Aisen stammered.
“Where did you come from?”
“Ah, well… I just went outside the palace briefly on an errand for Her Highness…”
A strong scent of women’s perfume wafted from Aisen as he spoke. Viern’s eyes narrowed sharply.
“Really? Now you’re using the Princess as an excuse and meeting women?”
“Huh? Women? N-No, that’s not…!”
Thwack.
Something fell out of Aisen’s sleeve. Viern, who had glanced down absentmindedly, froze solid upon identifying the object. Inside the box that had fallen to the floor and popped open lay women’s lingerie. An obscenely small set, packed with useless lace and mesh, so flimsy it wouldn’t even cover the most intimate areas…
“……”
“……”
Whoosh. In an instant, an icy silence descended between the two brothers.
“A-Ahaha, th-this is also for Her Highness’s errand…”
Aisen stammered an excuse, cold sweat dripping profusely, but of course, Viern didn’t believe him. Why would the innocent Princess order such a thing? And Aisen wasn’t some pervert with such eccentric tastes.
“So now you’re even selling out the master you’re sworn to serve.”
Crack. The sound of knuckles grinding came from his tightly clenched fist.
“I-It’s the truth…”
Terrified by this, Aisen protested in a shrinking voice, gauging his brother’s expression, then quickly changed tack and apologized.
“M-My apologies, Brother.”
“Why, of all people, did it have to be such a pathetic and worthless scum like you…”
If it were possible to tear someone apart with a gaze, Aisen might have met a gruesome, mangled death right then and there under his older brother’s glare.
“Sob, it’s all my fault, Brother. Please, have mercy…”
“You are a disgrace to the Erkman name. I don’t even want to look at your face, so stay out of my sight for a while.”
“Y-Yes…”
Leaving behind the pitiful, sniffling Aisen who had been scolded for reasons unknown to him, Viern turned and walked away. Even though he had fully vented his anger on his youngest brother with his vile tastes, his foul mood showed no signs of improving.
