Chapter 108
“I—I don’t know… I just—ah…”
Unsatisfied with her answer, Cairn silenced her with a deep kiss—his tongue tangling with hers, then pulling her in closer.
Lilien felt like she might actually die. She couldn’t breathe, her whole body burning with heat.
As soon as their lips parted, Cairn laid her out across the desk, driving into her roughly.
“Ah… ah, hnn…!”
His large hand squeezed her b****t through her clothes, gripping tight as he drove deeper, the sound of skin on skin loud in the quiet room. Lilien writhed beneath him, while Cairn grabbed her hip to steady her, holding her firmly in place.
He pulled her into a tight embrace, so close she could barely breathe, then rubbed her sensitive spot with his thumb, sending new shivers through her.
“Wait—stop, just a second—”
When he stimulated both her entrance and that sensitive nub at once, her whole body shuddered.
“This isn’t fair… ah… I can’t—”
Her mind spun, everything going fuzzy, but Cairn kept moving, thrusting deep.
With a final, deep push, she cried out, and he pressed his face to her chest as a hot wave filled her, spreading warmth inside her. Even as he finished, he kept moving, drawing out the pleasure to the very end.
“Ah…”
The lingering stimulation left her trembling, lost in the aftershocks. When she moved, he held her in place, not letting her pull away.
It was the second time they’d both come that day.
Looking back, Lilien found herself wondering,
Could a man with ‘no appetite’ really read her so well?
Why didn’t someone as fastidious as Cairn so much as flinch at the scent now filling the room?
But that suspicion faded quickly, as soon as he started gently adjusting her dress again, hands cool and collected as if nothing had happened.

Lilien ended up completely wiped out.
For most of her life, she’d spent her days lounging around, but after all this sudden, vigorous activity, her entire body ached. Maybe Cairn felt a little guilty for tormenting her so much, because he lay down beside her and gently patted her chest, trying to soothe her to sleep.
“Are you okay?”
“Yeah, I’m fine. Just a bit of a sore back.”
Cairn’s face crumpled at the mention of her soreness, and he closed his eyes as if to reflect on his actions. But shutting out the sight was a mistake—because as soon as Lilien’s soft, almost whispered voice tickled his ear, a familiar tension stirred in his lower body all over again.
“Other than feeling a little raw down there, I’m okay.”
She said again clearly oblivious, eyebrows quirking in a playful grin.
“And aside from the bite mark on my neck I saw in the mirror, I’m really fine.”
“Lili…”
“Hmm?”
When Cairn opened his eyes, he saw her mischievous smile.
“You really are…”
He muttered, and stretched her cheek between his fingers.
“Let me just say this ahead of time—after you have the baby, if you ever need me again, don’t hesitate.”
“What do you mean?”
“I mean, if you ever need someone to take care of your needs, don’t go looking anywhere else. Just come to me.”
“Cairn!”
She shrieked at his shameless comment.
“I’m your husband, after all.”
“But if that’s the case, what was the point of marrying you? I wanted to avoid… that’s exactly why I married you…”
Now tangled in his own contradiction, Cairn could only mutter something he didn’t quite mean.
“…Just, you know, not too often.”
“I’ll try.”
Before long, Lilien’s breathing grew deep and even, and her eyelids became heavy. Just before she drifted off to sleep, a sudden question crossed her mind.
“Cairn, do you… not ever get that sort of a breeding urge?”
