Chapter 99
Lilien, lying on her side, blinked slowly as she watched Cairn emerge from the shower. He sat down beside her limp body and gently ran his fingers through her long hair.
“I told you, I could wash you.”
“Having you wait on me in the bath is a bit much, don’t you think?”
Lilien replied, her breaths coming in soft, ragged sounds.
“Should I call for your maid?”
“No. I don’t want anyone to find out what we’ve been up to at this hour.”
She pressed her flushed cheek into the pillow and answered in a small voice.
“Thank you for today, Cairn.”
Lilien somehow managed to steady her trembling legs and slowly made her way toward the bathroom. Her cool demeanor as she walked away made her seem like someone entirely different.
It was as if the male, having served his purpose as a breeding partner, was discarded the moment he was no longer needed. Annoyed, Cairn strode over and, without asking for permission, swept her up into his arms.
“H-Hey, what are you doing? Put me down!”
Lilien protested, kicking her legs.
“The bed’s filthy.”
Cairn’s stamina was impressive. Even after pouring himself into Lilien once, he’d become e***t again in no time, taking her countless more times until she begged him to stop because she was sore from friction.
As a result, their bed was thoroughly soiled with all kinds of fluids from their bodies.
“So, what’s your point?”
“We’ll sleep in my bed anyway, so let’s get cleaned up over there.”
With that, Cairn wrapped a robe around her and led her out, making it clear this was an order, not a suggestion.
The darkness outside was thick enough to hide her embarrassment. At this late hour, the palace was silent, with no one in sight and only the gentle sound of the lake in the distance.
“Cairn, are you okay?”
“What do you mean?”
“Didn’t it feel dirty or… unclean to you?”
He didn’t reply. She was sure he must have felt something, but she was grateful that, for her sake, Cairn never said a word.
Each time Cairn stepped across the stepping stones, Lilien’s body swayed in his arms. Soon, she heard the door open and felt herself being set gently into the tub.
“My whole body aches.”
Cairn lit the candle on the silver candlestick by the bath, filling the large room with a soft, warm glow. He turned the faucet and drew a bath with warm water. Lilien shivered at the cozy sensation—then suddenly caught a glimpse of herself and gasped.
“What… what is all this?”
There were deep bite marks on her collarbone, and her n*****s were swollen and bruised from his mouth. Red marks dotted her body everywhere, regardless of location, and her mouth dropped open in shock.
“You…!”
Her gratitude toward Cairn quickly turned into a sense of betrayal. But he simply fetched a towel and began washing her body gently, paying no mind to her indignation.
“So now you give me the cure after giving me the disease! Are you a dog or something? All these marks…!”
“Lili, your arm.”
Just as she had in bed, Lilien obediently lifted her arm, and he lathered soap into even the deepest parts under her arm.
“What’s with all these marks?”
“Are you upset about it?”
Cairn’s head tilted slightly to the side.
“Yes, I am!”
“Then next time, leave a mark on me too.”
His hand slid between her thighs, scrubbing where her leg met her g***n. It was a practical, almost emotionless touch, nothing like before.
“Or do you want to leave a mark now?”
Cairn, who was calmly washing Lilien, offered her his neck without hesitation.

Cairn barely managed to restrain himself in the bathroom, forcing down the desire that surged every time Lilien winced in pain. But the moment he saw the marks he’d left imprinted across her pale skin, he felt himself harden all over again.
Whether she realized it or not, Lilien grumbled under her breath yet still trusted him completely, yielding her body with gentle obedience. She had no idea he kept swallowing hard every time his gaze drifted to her soft, full b*****s.
After laying her down on the bed, he forced himself to lie as far away as possible, turning onto his side so he wouldn’t look at her. It had been easy to endure when he knew nothing—but after tasting her once, the hunger only grew sharper.
Lilien’s body was sweet, fragrant… delicious.
It wasn’t right to compare a person to food, yet now he understood why she always reached for desserts so eagerly.
When he kissed her, he wanted to bite. When he bit, he wanted to take her deeper. Even after his s***n splatter all over her, her velvety skin still carried only the faint, intoxicating scent that drove him mad.
