I know too. I know that Claude is being very lenient with me.
If he wanted to, he could easily stop me from leaving the house. Or he could have caused a much bigger scene today to make sure I’d never utter a word about going out again.
But he didn’t do that. Though he couldn’t bear to be without me within his sight and insisted on following me, he still tried his best to respect my way.
He endured quietly in a closed space full of people, especially Guides, and even gave some advice to his follower, albeit in a rough manner.
It’s hard to imagine the old Claude doing any of this.
I suddenly remembered a promise he once made to me.
He said I didn’t need to change, but he would willingly change for me.
Even if it had been just sweet talk to win my favor at the moment, I would have gladly believed him.
But he had kept that promise silently all this time. He let me do what I wanted while changing himself willingly for me.
So he would willingly curl up his large body to hold me.

One hand that was holding my waist slipped under my shirt to grasp my bare chest, while the other boldly moved between my thighs.

Encouraged by my soft moan, he lifted me effortlessly. I wrapped my legs around his waist without hesitation.
The kiss continued the entire way from the entrance to the bedroom as he carried me.
I thought I was too exhausted to even lift a finger, but the sensation of his hands openly caressing my back and our tongues intertwining quickly aroused me, heating up my head.
Finally, he laid me down on the soft mattress, and he climbed on top of me as if it was the most natural thing.
I couldn’t help but gaze up at him blankly. His deep, masculine features, the sharp lines of his solid jaw, and beneath that, his perfectly sculpted body.
Just a few minutes ago, I was so tired that I felt like I could collapse at any moment.
Is it possible to like someone so much that just looking at them gives you strength and makes you feel good?
That thought suddenly crossed my mind.
Maybe, just maybe… if it were just him and me left in the world, like he said, it wouldn’t be so bad.
Especially if it’s someone who expresses his affection in a way that gives me such assurance and stability.
I couldn’t hold back my laughter. He was busy planting kisses all over my body, and when he heard me laugh, he lifted his head, his eyes half-closed.
“…Why?”
He raised an eyebrow, clearly puzzled. Instead of answering, I bit my lips to suppress my laughter and shook my head.
Though he was puzzled, he obediently lowered his head when I reached out. I wrapped my arms around his neck, and as if waiting for this moment, our lips met.
I welcomed the way his hands undressed me, layer by layer.

The door burst open with a deafening crash.
“What the hell, why isn’t there a doorbell… eek!”
The two people on the other side of the door recoiled in shock.
