This work contains scenes of sadistic coercion and hardcore depictions of BDSM. Reader discretion is advised.

A short while later, Eltan arrived, breathless, and exchanged words with Yasamin.

Yasamin, still seething with rage, spoke in a tone that brooked no argument—anyone who dared to object seemed as if they would have their mouth torn open on the spot.

“So there are those who take issue with making the princess of Wilkeron my Diet.”

“…….”

“If you have a complaint, you should bring it to me, your master. Isn’t that the law of the South?”

Siren’s life belonged to Yasamin.

Her blood, her future, her ambitions, her very existence.

Everything that made up Siren was wholly owned by him, entrusted to his will.

Which meant tormenting Siren was unjust.

She didn’t even have the right to claim ownership over herself.

“…Honestly, Your Highness, I don’t understand. That woman is from Wilkeron, isn’t she? Didn’t you swear to kill every last member of the Wilkeron royal family?”

At that moment, someone from the Kalik clan burst out hysterically.

“That’s right! You brought her here without any explanation and suddenly declared a Diet bond. There’s no reasonable justification for this. What do we gain from it?”

This time, it was someone from the Nu clan.

Their tone was calmer than the Kalik clan’s, but their argument was the same.

“Watch your tongue! The princess is an Aquafuran. There’s no doubt about it—the circlet recognized her!”

As dissatisfaction toward Siren became more apparent, the Aquafuran clan stamped their feet forcefully. Then, all at once, they surged forward to surround her.

Draped in their blue robes, they looked just like a wall of water.

“She has simply yet to awaken. Once the Aquafuran within her stirs, those insolent words will be met with severe punishment!”

“You’ll regret it when the time comes!”

Ah, what a mess.

Watching as the situation devolved into a battlefield of arguments, Siren rubbed her face in exasperation.

The Aquafuran clan saw her as a goddess and sought to protect her, while the other clans dismissed such talk as absurd.

In the end, it was nothing more than a meaningless argument that drained their energy—each person had different desires and stood in a different position.

‘Still… just in case. If, one day, Yasamin’s shield is ever broken. To survive when that time comes, I need to maintain a good relationship with the Aquafuran clan.’

Siren had always been a supporting role.

A character meant to illuminate the protagonist, Angelique.

And now, a character meant to illuminate the protagonist, Yasamin.

She didn’t know how long this supporting role would last.

Not that she particularly minded. In fact, it was comfortable, even preferable. She didn’t have to think.

She could focus solely on tending to the wounds her heart had accumulated over the years.

But she was aware.

This wouldn’t last forever.

Feelings had expiration dates, and all relationships eventually came to an end. One day, she would inevitably have to stand alone, and she wanted to start preparing for that now.

‘No, I have to prepare. Now that I’ve stepped out of this dreamlike time with Yasamin… Now that I’ve faced reality, I understand.’

His shield was solid, and life under his name was bliss.

So long as she remained intoxicated by the pleasure he bestowed, she didn’t have to worry about anything.

Like being drunk on liquor, each day felt exhilarating, light, effortless.

But now, Siren has snapped back to reality.

The eyes that looked at her with disgust. The wary gazes. The lips curled in quiet hatred.

They were all waiting—no, hoping—for the day she would be cast aside.

“Ah… It seems you all are under some sort of misconception.”

It was then.

Suddenly, her breath caught in her throat.

The air in the room grew heavy. Like an enormous fist pressing down, crushing her lungs.

“I’ve been letting you all run your mouths lately, so now you seem to think you have the right to voice complaints.”

“Guh… Gahk—!”

The ones who had spoken the loudest clutched their throats, foaming at the mouth.

Siren also found it difficult to breathe, but not to the same extent as them—she blinked in confusion before realizing.

Ah, Yasamin was controlling the concentration.

‘The Raksha is thickest around them.’

Black Raksha.

The cursed energy he had strictly forbidden her from ever touching was now flowing through the air.

It was growing harsher and heavier by the second—to the point that she thought they might actually be crushed to death beneath its weight.

‘But telling him to stop wouldn’t be right. It would be as if I were interfering with his authority.’

That was not the kind of impression she could afford to create.

After a brief moment of thought, Siren came up with a clever solution.

“Cough, cough!”

He was always sensitive to her condition. Then… What if she pretended to cough like this?

“Cough… Ahh….”

Rocking her upper body as if in distress, she even feigned dry heaving. It wasn’t difficult—her throat was already parched from the arid environment, making it easy to act as though she were struggling.

“Sei, are you alright?”

And fortunately, her plan worked perfectly.
