Chapter 111
After 500 years, the act of touching himself was sweet.
It was even more thrilling than when new research findings were made. Not an empty academic pursuit, but the excitement of such an eruption in a living person—who would have thought?
Alokes’s face had a faintly sharp smile as he looked at the milky white fluid on his hand.
“Haah.”
First, Silvea was moderately persuaded.
He thought she loved Tristan… but no.
‘He’s just a trophy.’
A trophy Silvea had given herself the right to suppress and take the lives of many women, how could she not cherish him? Yet even that was meaningless in front of the ‘Schroder family’ she truly treasured.
“So, what now?”
He murmured as he wiped the s***n away with magic.
His goal was clear: he wanted that woman.
But the obstacle was Silvea’s order: ‘Kill Eugenie Norton in the end.’
He can’t disobey the order of the heir of the Schroder family, nor can he defy an order that threatens their life.
Although he was dull to human emotions… he noticed that Eugenie Norton viewed him like some grotesque slime creature.
‘If I forcibly drag her here, she might just blow my brain out.’
Alokes smiled, savoring the fluttering butterfly-like stimulation across his lower abdomen.
So how to solve this problem?
“Hmm…”
It had been so long since he’d felt such joy that even the act of searching for a solution was delightful.
Wasn’t the method already clear from the start?
‘If she breaks the contract with the Schroder family by her own power, it will be over.’
Though he cast the magic, the years had made it burdensome even for him. But if she was a woman who could turn back time for the dead, she could shatter this ancient bondage.
If only her magic grew just a bit more…
“And… Carter Livingston, and Magnus Napier, wasn’t it?”
Alokes recalled the two men attacked by the tree trunk servant. Unlike with Eugenie Norton, he had only obtained blood droplets from them.
‘The information gained was limited, but…’
Smiling slyly, Alokes recalled the fragments of memories seen in those droplets.
“Hmph… cute traitors.”
Now that he knew Eugenie Norton hated betrayal most of all, it was ironic that she didn’t realize the men claiming to be her husbands.
In any case, this was good news for Alokes.
At the right moment, he would reveal this truth and tear apart the woman and the five men.
And he would reach out when she was most desperate.
A new goal after 500 years.

Before dawn, the capital’s temple lay silent.
Soon, pilgrims would come again. Though the faith in Arthurian had long been overshadowed by money, the spiritual center remained here.
Richard Livingston, the High Priest, took advantage of this quiet moment to pray. But unlike usual perfect silence, he sensed someone quietly approaching from behind.
‘Today is definitely the day.’
Not just one, but two secretly sought him out…Yet at least, he knew who they were without looking back.
“Welcome back, Carter.”
“Yes, Richard.”
Richard slowly turned his head over his shoulder to see his adopted son standing with his hands behind his back.
He maintained a gentle, kind smile in front of Eugenie Norton, but in the dawn’s shadow his face was cold.
Only Richard knew this was Carter’s true face.
Carter scanned the prayer room casually, as if inspecting a subordinate’s quarters.
Seeing two teacups, he guessed someone had arrived before him—likely someone of high rank, as those cups were reserved for the elite.
“The Emperor must have visited the temple, then?”
“Yes.”
Richard sighed, looking weary and exasperated.
Even the Emperor who once had his way with things now swallowed his pride silently under the Empress’s gaze.
‘He was always a pitiful man.’
But since Crown Prince Tristan had been bedridden for so long, perhaps the Emperor wanted to appear as a ‘good father.’ His visit to the temple late at night was ‘accidentally’ witnessed.
But Carter saw through that.
“He didn’t come to sincerely pray for that trash. What’s the real purpose?”
“He seemed curious.”
