Chapter 147
Having genuinely sulked, he was planning to thoroughly ravish Cynthia with her own holes or with his tentacles. He figured that if he made her feel good, she would finally start to miss her absent fiancé.
If she so much as uttered another man’s name, he intended to remember it well and kill that man first. He wouldn’t lay a finger on Cynthia. Instead, he was determined to make her unable to love anyone but himself.
But unexpectedly, that was the moment his own name came from her lips.
‘I’d rather do it with Sellie instead!’
At that moment, all jealousy and everything else was wiped clean from Segleninde’s mind.
Come to think of it, she’d said she didn’t have any experience.
He recalled hearing that human women tend to consider their first experience important. In that case, didn’t it mean she wanted to have that precious first experience with him?
If the ‘main point’ of experience was penetration, then even if this tentacle was just an extension of his own body, for her it would mean her first experience would be with a tentacle.
He couldn’t let that happen. Feeling elated, Segleninde used his tentacle to thoroughly rub her s*x and made her cry out, then finally let her go.
Even in the Moon Flower Garden, Cynthia didn’t look for him, but Segleninde was feeling generous. Still, he hadn’t given up on waiting for her to call his name first, so this time he didn’t help her in any particular way—and finally, she called out his name.
“Aaah! Sellie!”
She didn’t call out properly to ask for help, so he only stopped the mask’s timer, but honestly, even that made him deeply satisfied. How precious and admirable was her heart, to call out her man’s name when things got dangerous or scary. He decided to show himself before she got too frightened.
But then there was the problem of the mist that bloomed with the full-moon flower.
If the faint vapor on the first floor only affected women, the full-moon flower’s mist only worked on men.
He had been so preoccupied with Cynthia that he hadn’t realized there were still living humans in the mansion.
When he saw the guy attacking Cynthia in the Moon Flower Garden, his vision went dark with rage. He wanted to tear the man apart with his tentacles, but thought Cynthia would be scared, so he stopped himself and immediately went to grab his sword instead.
Until that point, Cynthia had been fighting back against the would-be rapist, yelling and swearing at him and never submitting easily. When Segleninde finally arrived to save her, she looked at him with a face full of relief. He faintly heard her voice, half scolding, asking where he’d been. Segleninde forced his unsteady legs to move forward.
He hadn’t realized the full-moon flower’s mist would affect him too.
But it wasn’t a bad thing. Not at all.
“…That promise, to help me before. Is it still good?”
Everything about her was his fortune.
“You… smell good. You always have…”
From the very beginning, every scent that wafted from her had been sweet and fragrant. She had also, at times, looked at him as if desperate to swallow the honey in her mouth, and so he wanted to give her everything.
If she wanted, he’d gladly be consumed by her and live forever in endless bliss.
“I’ll give it to you. I’ll give you all of me… Please, let me, Sia…”
And from that moment on, Segleninde could never escape from Cynthia.
He felt as if he could close his eyes forever, drowning in the scent and the sweet honey she gave him. He wanted to soak every root and stem in her, to pour out everything of himself endlessly.
He could give her his soul and life, so all he wanted was for her to grant him a little more of her embrace.
Segleninde finally understood why living things chased pleasure until the moment they died.
At some point, Cynthia’s very existence became Segleninde’s happiness. Caring for her, satisfying her desires, granting what she wished. That alone became his reason for existence.
As if, from the very start, he had opened his eyes in this world only for her, and lived until now for that reason alone.
Sitting by her side with their eyes closed together, she would lean her shoulder on him. When he poked her, she’d retort with her sharp little lips, and then, feeling sorry, she’d tug at his sleeve. When he fed her, she’d pout at being treated like a child, but would still chew and swallow what he gave her.
When he kissed her, she would flutter her long eyelashes and quietly smile. When he kissed her down below, she’d first try to push his head away, but soon she’d gasp and breathe heavily. When they embraced, sharing warm body heat, how could he not love her?
And so, it was only natural that he ended up loving someone he could not help but love.
