Chapter 66
“…It’s not that I dislike the two of you, but sometimes I hate myself for not realizing that there were two of you. It makes me feel so foolish.”
“Ria.”
“Ella…”
“Sometimes I wonder if this is why you couldn’t tell me your secret all this time.”
At her self-mocking words, Lucian quickly replied.
“That’s absolutely not it.”
But Noctis said something a little unexpected.
“No, it’s true. You have to admit that you’re slow.”
“Noctis!”
“Lucian, don’t stop me. Times like this are when everything should be laid out clearly.”
As if this was actually a good opportunity, Noctis tightened his grip on her hand and continued.
“There were nights I couldn’t sleep because I was worried about you. You were always getting used by other people, and you even defended that awful sister of yours just because she’s family. And you didn’t even know how much she talked behind your back.”
“…I did know to some extent.”
Elaria had nothing to say. It wasn’t wrong.
“You knew and still let yourself be used? What are you, too kind or just not very bright?”
“Noctis, that’s enough!”
“No, Lucian. She needs to understand this better. Now that she knows our secret too, we can’t let her keep living so obliviously.”
“That may be true, but…”
When even Lucian seemed to agree, Elaria felt slightly shocked. She knew she could be slow, but she had never expected Lucian to think so as well. It had always been Noctis who teased her about it.
“We wanted to tell you our secret years ago too. But no matter how many hints we gave right in front of you, you never noticed anything. If we had suddenly revealed such a huge secret to someone that carefree, do you think you could have handled it?”
“……”
“Ella, you’re very lovable. But every time you acted that clueless, I honestly wanted to spank you. You’re the only person in the world who makes me feel that kind of contradiction, you know?”
Faced with that shocking string of words, she could only reply weakly.
“I didn’t know…”
“See? That’s exactly what I mean. We worried so much about you, and you didn’t understand any of it, and now what? You feel betrayed? Honestly, I felt more betrayed by how oblivious you were.”
“……”
Elaria was overwhelmed by Noctis’s relentless words. No matter how she thought about it, Noctis seemed far more persuasive than Lucian.
“And you thought the conversation was over with that, didn’t you?”
“…Isn’t it?”
“No, it’s not. Why do you think I’ve been waiting here?”
Noctis grinned as he spoke. His gaze openly swept over her face, her neck, and the line of her body below.
“I, I want to wash first…”
“You don’t really have a strong scent anyway, so it’s fine.”
At Noctis’s reply, Lucian added,
“Actually, it might be better if you did have a stronger scent.”
“……”
It wasn’t that she didn’t want to be with them, but seeing both men at the same time in such a brightly lit room was still too much for her. She unconsciously tried to lean back.
But it was impossible.
Both of her hands were still being held, and at some point the two men’s hands were firmly supporting her back.
“Haha, I’ve developed a taste for something unusual lately.”
With the mischievous expression he had been showing often these days, Noctis held her chin and whispered,
“I always get a thrill when I see you flustered, Ella.”
“…You’re mean.”
As he removed his sleepwear, he replied in a voice tinged with laughter.
“It’s fine. Lucian will be gentle with you.”
“I’ll take care of you, Ria.”
Lucian, too, was silently removing his clothes. The black suit that had suited him so well lay discarded on the floor.
Still wearing her silver dress that shimmered like waves, she was laid down on the bed. In the brightly lit room, the two men approached her at the same time.
Elaria swallowed dryly without realizing it. The two handsome men, identical except for their eye color, seemed to draw closer very slowly. After each pressing their lips briefly to her cheeks, they moved quickly, as if each knew his place.
Lucian to her upper body.
Noctis to her lower.
Her head and neck were held by firm hands, and both of her ankles were grasped at the same time. Without a sound, they restrained her limbs. Held completely by four hands, she felt so tense she almost wanted to cry out.
It felt as though she was being overwhelmed by the depth of their affection, which they were no longer hiding.
As though she were quietly sinking into still water…
She was gradually dissolving into them.
