Chapter 35
“Ahh.”
“Mmm!”
A blanket embroidered with golden patterns on a purple background crumpled beneath several naked bodies before falling to the floor with a thud. The white sheets were a mess of sweat and fluids whose owners could not be distinguished.
“Ugh.”
A man who had just e********d onto a woman’s belly stroked his c**k up and down as if savoring the afterglow.
The man had beautifully tanned skin and golden eyes. His dark chestnut hair falling down like a mane to cover his neck, and his body, packed with large muscles, overflowed with wild beauty, as if personifying the lion, king of beasts.
His name was Marbas, an overlord who commanded no less than 36 legions in Hell.
The scene in the bedroom was utterly debauched. Five women lay on the bed, while another three or four who had already gone through harsh intercourse lay collapsed on the floor.
Asmodeus, who had been sitting on a plush sofa watching the lengthy intercourse, pushed up the small glasses that had slipped down his nose.
“You seem quite pleased with today’s brides? You’re taking longer than usual.”
“Asmo, you’re not trying to mess with me right now, are you?”
Marbas smiled brightly and beckoned to Asmodeus with his hand. It was a mysterious smile that looked both sweet and gentle, yet also sinister and suspicious. Asmodeus rose from his seat, picked up a pitcher from the bedside table, and handed it over.
Marbas gulped down the water refreshingly, then poured the remaining water onto his member, sticky with fluids. Moving his hand as if m**********g, he wiped himself clean and carelessly tossed the empty pitcher aside.
“It took longer than usual because I wasn’t satisfied. I’m tired of such docile brides now. There’s no stimulating flavor.”
“Well, they are brides after all, so it can’t be helped. There are no brides who rebel against their husbands. Unless you force someone unwilling into the role, that is.”
Most of the women here had willingly become Marbas’s brides. Some were enchanted by Marbas’s appearance, others admired his strength. Some became brides as if sold when their fathers became Marbas’s followers, and some accepted out of terror, fearing death if they refused his proposal.
Well, it’s not like there was just one or two brides. Listing reasons like this would be endless.
“No, there was one. A woman with a small body not even worth a bite, who wielded a tiny knife and made a fuss.”
“Are you still talking about her? Forget about that woman already. Seeing how she hasn’t come looking even after all this time, she must be dead already. Didn’t you say you even cursed her?”
“Of course I controlled it appropriately. I made it progress slowly so she wouldn’t die. Besides, it’s her right arm, not her left. It’ll take several more years for the curse to reach her heart.”
“No matter how slowly it progresses, it’s still a curse. And ordinary humans tend to die soon after their bodies rot, even if it’s not the heart.”
Asmodeus, who had casually perched on the bed, grabbed the b****t of a woman lying there. Startled, the woman hurriedly looked around as if searching for something to cover herself with. But the blankets had long since fallen to the floor in a crumpled mess.
“You’d better keep that hand in check if you don’t want it cut off. Even if it’s you, I won’t tolerate you coveting what’s mine.”
The smile on Marbas’s lips deepened. Making brutal threats with a smiling face was very much like Marbas.
He was a vicious demon who would disarm opponents with his beaming smile, then strike their necks when they let their guard down. Even demons who were initially captivated by his handsome appearance and gentle smile would click their tongues and avoid him after experiencing his wicked personality that was the complete opposite of his looks.
Asmodeus was Marbas’s strategist. He was also a demon that Marbas had coaxed his worshippers to summon after he descended to the human realm.
As a demon of lust, he had a dark, sordid, and disgustingly persistent personality. For devising suspicious plans, there was no demon more suitable as a strategist.
“How could I dare covet what belongs to Lord Marbas? It’s just that being the demon of lust, my hand moved instinctively. I’ll be careful from now on.”
Asmodeus chuckled and pushed up his glasses that had slipped down again.
“When you laugh like that while pushing up your glasses, you really look like a crazy pervert. My brides hate it, so stop.”
Marbas gestured to the women lying down, then to the door. The women, trembling from being tormented all night, barely managed to rise and left the room supporting each other.
“What’s tomorrow’s schedule?”
“You have a speech at New Era Church in the morning. After the speech, you need to meet those afflicted with disease and show your power.”
“Why is the schedule so packed?”
“I’ve only mentioned the morning schedule so far. The afternoon schedule is even tighter than this. You haven’t forgotten that tomorrow is the day we’re testing how much the gate opens, have you?”
“Ugh, what a bother. I want to throw it all away.”
He said it like that, but Asmodeus, who had watched him for thousands of years, knew best that Marbas wouldn’t abandon this plan.
“Still, you can’t do that. You can’t remain the eternal second-in-command forever, can you?”
