Chapter 25
That man hadn’t contacted her even once since the night of the banquet. He had been cold even when they reunited today.
Based on his behavior, he clearly felt at the very least indifference toward her—or at most, outright disgust. So why had a man like that, who appeared to be in heat, chosen to remain alone with her in the forest? A rumor spreading would be just as troublesome for him.
‘Is it just because we’re sexually compatible…? Or is he wavering like I am?’
She thought deeply about it but couldn’t come up with a clear answer. In truth, Rachel herself was confused by her own body. There was no way she could guess what was in someone else’s heart.
Rachel gave up trying to understand and decided to simply follow her instincts. As she shook off her useless thoughts, Killian, who had just finished tying the reins, turned his gaze toward her.
His teal-blue eyes were as cold as ever—so much so that it was hard to tell he was aroused. It didn’t feel like he was looking at a woman he was about to sleep with.
‘Cold… Do I really have to do it with a man like that?’
Even though she had decided to stop trying to understand, she couldn’t stand that look in his eyes. Being treated like a s*x toy again, just like the other day, made her angry.
And yet, her g******s betrayed her emotions, leaking slick juices uncontrollably. The more she got aroused, the angrier she felt—and the more aroused she got, enough to want to pounce on him. It was absolute chaos.
Rachel, now truly at a loss, gave up thinking entirely. The heavy silence was suffocating, so she tried to move toward Killian, but she remembered how he told her not to move on her own last time and instead just rolled her eyes around.
As her gaze spun, it captured nothing but his handsome face and the massive lower half of his body in turns. Feeling her eyes on him, Killian furrowed his brow.
“Do you know what expression you’re making right now, Princess?”
“…No, I don’t.”
“You look like a beast in heat.”
“……”
“Yet right now, I find myself not entirely opposed to such an animal. Come here.”
Killian’s words were utterly contradictory. Though delivered as a command, Rachel didn’t hesitate. She moved toward him immediately, closing the distance in three quick strides until they stood mere inches apart.
Up close, Killian’s eyes remained icy. But as Rachel studied his face, she suddenly understood exactly how to respond.
If he sees me as an animal… then I’ll show him what a real beast looks like.
From this moment on—I’ll be the beast.
With that thought, Rachel abruptly dropped to her knees. Killian took an involuntary half-step back at her sudden descent, but the newly-determined animal before him didn’t stop. Panting heavily, she pressed her face toward the prominent bulge straining against his trousers. The thick musk of his arousal filled her nostrils.
Suppressing her ragged breathing, she let her tongue dart out. She pressed the wet muscle firmly against the swollen base visible through the fabric, leaving a dark patch of saliva on the fine material.
Without pause, she dragged her tongue upward in one long, slow lick along the conspicuous ridge, tracing him from root to tip until the entire length stood outlined in damp clarity against the cloth.
“Hah…”
A low exhale escaped Killian as he watched. After steadying his breath, he placed a heavy hand atop Rachel’s head, fingers tangling in the hair tie that held her locks in place. With one sharp tug, he freed the vibrant red strands, letting them spill like liquid fire over his fingers as they caught the sunlight.
This feels… nice.
