Startled by his voice, Leila flinched.

“Why are you surprised? You do remember, don’t you…?”

Her reaction, as if she had come to an entirely foreign place, prompted him to ask. Lucas’s mood dampened at her response. After spending three intense nights together, how could she not remember now?

“It’s not that… I do remember, but…”

When she first woke up, she felt so refreshed that she had no thoughts at all, but the moment she heard his voice, all the events of the past days came rushing back. Unlike his calm tone now, his voice filled with excitement seemed to linger in her ears.

“Then, are you embarrassed?”

At his question, Leila firmly shut her mouth. She pondered for a moment about why he wanted to confirm it so much.

Sitting on a chair beside the bed, Lucas watched her as she clutched the blanket tightly and rolled her eyes. His bedroom, without the curtains drawn, was overly bright with sunlight.

He had seriously debated whether to wake her up from her deep sleep and had decided to open all the curtains. Shortly after, she naturally woke up.

Like a newborn duckling breaking out of its shell, she seemed to be using various senses, except sight, to explore her surroundings. He almost burst out laughing but couldn’t because he was captivated by her face.

Her eyes, reflecting the dazzling sunlight, sparkled like gems and were more colorful and beautiful than a rainbow in a clear sky. He felt he could gaze into her eyes all day.

While hidden under the blanket, Leila checked her condition. She was still naked, which startled and embarrassed her. Even though their bodies had become intimately intertwined not long ago, she couldn’t stand being naked in front of him during the day. Even if she was covered by the blanket.

Watching her squirm nervously under the blanket, Lucas knew exactly why she was acting that way, and so he said to her,

“The blanket is thicker than it looks. So, stay under it for a while.”

“…Why?”

“The doctor is waiting outside right now. I’ll tell him to come in once you’re ready.”

“What?”

At the mention of the doctor, Leila instinctively sat up. The movement caused the blanket to slip down, revealing her voluptuous chest.

Lucas let out a short sigh and rubbed his face with one hand. Seeing her naked in the bright daylight was more beautiful than he had anticipated. Perhaps it was partly because of the numerous marks he had left on her.

Lucas stood up and approached her. When he sat on the bed, it tilted slightly but didn’t bounce. The difference from the crude bed she was used to was so striking that Leila parted her lips in amazement.

In the meantime, he reached out and gently grasped her exposed nxxple.

“Hmm, it seems a bit larger than before you went into heat.”

“…What?”

At his words, Leila frantically shook her head. She feared that if she were to engage in that activity with him when she was in her right mind, the pleasure might overwhelm her even more than during her heat.
