Chapter 13
How such strength came from a body that only ever held a pen, she didn’t know—his solid hands didn’t budge even at Asha’s movements that bordered on a struggle. At her relentless obsession, he pulled Asha close and pecked her cheek with his lips. The act of pressing and pulling away with a ‘mwah‘ sound was closer to a charming gesture asking her to stop being angry.
“As much as I’d like to willingly offer up my crotch for my lovely wife, time won’t permit it.”
“Time—”
Only then did Asha’s gaze turn to the grandfather clock located in the corner of the dining room. The time the clock pointed to was 9:30 AM. It was well past the working hour of 9:00 AM.
During meal times, the servants wouldn’t care what the master and mistress did at the table. But if the couple stayed in the dining room to the point of violating work hours, wouldn’t interest grow where there was none before?
Asha’s face turned pale at the thought of the immense interest she could already anticipate. He added more words as if to drive his point home.
“If we delay any longer, what we did here today will become the biggest topic of conversation among the mansion’s servants.”
“…You’re cowardly, Harriet.”
“Sometimes being cowardly for the sake of practical gain is an excellent strategy.”
Asha shot him a look with narrowed eyes, but there was no way she could win against him and his sly responses. He was a great merchant with a silver tongue, and Asha was a wretch who had blown seventeen businesses.
“Well then, I’ll see you in the evening. My lady.”
After tidying Asha’s clothes until they were neat, he gave a rounded smile. It was a very kind and elegant smile. So much so that Asha couldn’t bring herself to shove her hideous desires in that face.
And so, Asha was chased out to her office without being able to say a single word more about insertion.
Her lower half was still tingling, even feeling empty—how was she supposed to work in this state of mind?
Even though a long time had passed since breakfast ended, the lingering sensation showed no signs of fading. To the point that she sat in her office chair and did nothing but think about it.
“Madam?”
If Harriet found out, he would surely tease her for being lewd, but for Asha, who had to work while clutching a lower half where the traces of excitement hadn’t faded, she couldn’t stop these thoughts. How could she get that c**k into her p***y?
“My lady!”
“Uh, yes?”
Melos, who possessed a massive build unbefitting an assistant whose main job was handling a pen, thrust his face toward Asha. His face was so large that Asha’s spirit, which had been drifting in another world, snapped back to reality.
Unlike his bear-like, fierce build, his gentle face was filled with a beaming smile. It was a smile born from the fact that Asha had recovered her marriage funds while repaying her business debts.
“My lady, how on earth did you do it? To persuade that iron-fortress-like Count!”
Unlike his steady impression, he talked so much and so fast that he prattled on as if he were about to spit.
“You should have seen the ridiculous state Count Fabian is in now, after he made such a scene demanding his money first because the business was failing! Now, word is going to spread among businessmen about what a stingy fellow Count Fabian is! Puhaha, how could things change so much in a single day? How did you borrow such a huge sum from the Count? With this money, not only can we settle all the lawsuits, but with the remaining million Rublangs, we can even put a bounty on the runaway Viscount Serman….”
Asha, who had been listening to Melos’s rapid-fire words with hazy eyes, suddenly had a flash of insight.
“Wait.”
“Yes?”
“Say that again.”
“That it’s… a relief?”
“No, before that.”
Melos tilted his head and continued.
“With the remaining million Rublangs, we can even put a bounty on the runaway Viscount Serman….”
“A million Rublangs?”
A million Rublangs. Compared to the fifty million Rublangs Asha had borrowed, it could be considered pocket change, but a million Rublangs is what small-scale entrepreneurs start with as their base capital. That meant it was sufficient capital to start a new business.
Asha was so filled with joy that the incessantly prattling Melos almost looked lovely. Why had she only been thinking about persuading him to put it in? She just had to pay back the money and break this ridiculous contract! If she broke the contract, she would never have to be teased by him at the breakfast table again.
And then she could spend peaceful and full nights with his crotch!
It wasn’t a thought a chaste lady would have, but for Asha now, such things weren’t important. Asha, who had been looking depressed as if she were about to slam her head into the desk, rested her chin on her hand and gave a sinister smile. If Madame Marlan, who had been in charge of her etiquette education as a child, saw this, she would have lamented, but right now, Asha was blind to everything else.
“Heh, hehehe.”
At Asha’s sudden, sinister laughter, the assistant made a wary face. She was always a chaste and elegant noblewoman, but whenever she conceived a strange business item or had a scheme, she would smile ominously like that.
