Chapter 32
“If what you say is true, then what’s the problem?”
Zynie wanted to retort out of sheer frustration, but had nothing else to say and just breathed heavily.
“Bring her before noon tomorrow.”
Virelda repeated the command and swept past the fuming young witch, leaving the room. Zynie stomped her foot as soon as the door closed, glaring after her.
“So annoying!”
She couldn’t understand why Fay kept siding with that disagreeable witch. Virelda seemed eager to see Fay in trouble, never grateful for her help!
As soon as the sun rose, Zynie resolved to march straight to Fay’s house and show that smug, nasty witch a thing or two.

That same night, after collapsing in Alnazir’s arms, Fay drifted off to sleep. When she awoke, her mind went blank. All she could see was the man’s firm chest filling her vision—he hadn’t moved an inch since she’d fallen asleep.
She’d really done it—made a colossal mistake. She’d slept with her own invoked, the very one she’d summoned, overwhelmed by her own lust.
She’d never realized she could be such a weak-willed witch. She wanted to blame the unexpected pleasure on his attempts to erase her pain, but her own mind piped up:
‘But I liked it. I’ve never felt that good before.’
Her brain replayed the events of the night, and just the memory made her feel herself getting wet again. She tried to calm down, but her cheeks were already flushed red.
How was she supposed to look him in the eye now?
And just as worrying—what was he thinking? Fay nervously glanced up.
She wasn’t sure when he’d woken, but Alnazir was looking rather dissatisfied. Was it because only she had enjoyed herself? Suddenly, she worried that maybe he hadn’t had a good time.
There’s nothing worse than a one-sided night.
“Witch.”
Alnazir called her curtly. Tense, Fay just blinked at him.
“How well do you know human men?”
What kind of question was that? Was he about to ask how many men she’d been with? Of all the things he could say after s*x—that was the worst choice.
She stared at him in disbelief, her mouth hanging open, until Alnazir let out a sigh.
“Ever since last night, I haven’t been able to relax down there at all.”
Fay blinked slowly, then looked down. He was still rock-hard, straining so much his skin was taut.
“It was interesting, but I can’t shake the feeling something was missing. Is it supposed to be like this?”
So that was it—he was just feeling unfulfilled!
The expression she’d found so intimidating suddenly seemed a bit pathetic.
“If you’re unsatisfied, should we go again?”
She reached up and gently stroked his cheek. The corners of his mouth twitched upward, and his eyes shone as if gilded with gold. He was supposed to be a dangerous creature, but right now, he just looked cute and endearing. Fay swallowed a laugh and shyly asked,
“Well?”
Alnazir answered with his eyes and lifted her leg over his arm. Her soaked entrance readily welcomed him.
“Mm, ah, yes… that’s good…”
“You could have told me it didn’t have to end after one round.”
If he’d known, he wouldn’t have suffered all night with an unrelenting e******n. He almost wanted to blame her for not saying anything, but the way she now welcomed him, softer and more relaxed than last night, quickly soothed his annoyance.
Knock, knock, knock.
Just then, someone knocked on the door. Fay, startled, instinctively clenched around him.
“S-someone’s here! Alnazir, hurry, you have to pull out—!”
“Why?”
He’d already sensed the visitor, but why stop just because a human was at the door?
Ignoring Fay’s desperate whimpers, Alnazir pressed inside, pushing past her tightening walls.
