Humans naturally felt bothered by those who knew their flaws.
Even if the flow of this conversation was somewhat absurd, it wasn’t a good choice to provoke him with a lukewarm evaluation that differed from the truth.
“Surely you won’t say something cliché like you don’t remember or you’ve forgotten. For some reason, even I, whose Demonic Energy resistance is lower than yours, remember everything that happened that day.”
When Demian pressed for an answer, Levi cursed the status difference between her and him and opened her mouth.
“Yes, well……. I remember. Because it was such a…… magnificent…… dragon…… that I could never forget it.”
Every time Levi spat out an honest evaluation, one word at a time, she wanted to die of shame.
Why did that damn demon have to pop up unexpectedly that day, in that place, and cause her such suffering?
It would have been better if it had erased her memories like in normal cases.
Meanwhile, Demian harbored a reasonable suspicion as he listened to Levi’s somewhat stuttering answer.
‘Is she just lying and saying she knows because I’m meeting her one-on-one and browbeating her?’
He needed to check more clearly whether she knew about the massive dragon pattern left on his body or not.
Because if Levi hadn’t seen it, opening his mouth might be giving away unnecessary information.
So, Demian spoke according to the conclusion of his rational thinking.
“I’m glad you remember.”
“Yes, well…….”
“Then describe it.”
“Pardon?”
“What it looked like, what your overall impression was, and what you felt.”
“……..”
“I need to hear Lady Heron say it herself.”
Levi gasped internally as she saw Demian slightly raise an eyebrow as if telling her to speak quickly.
‘This bastard…… he’s a crazy pervert beyond help.’
She knew that Demian only pretended to be innocent and noble on the outside, while in reality, he was a man of great desire.
She also knew that in the original story, he would lose his reins and go on a rampage, becoming an overtly dark character.
Furthermore, the corrupted version of him would pour out countless explicit and dirty words as if he had never been modest, and he enjoyed the reaction of the person listening.
In other words, he was a character who was high-rated by his very existence.
‘I tried to treat him without prejudice toward the original work, but why does this man keep doing this to me?’
She didn’t expect him to call her over as if he had something important to say, only to ask for a review of the time they spent together.
What was even more ridiculous was the fact that the expression on Demian’s face while waiting for an answer was quite serious.
Even though he was merely sitting back against the sofa, he was exuding a pressure that made her want to give up resisting.
His wide-open eyes shone clearly yet leisurely, like those of a hunter identifying his prey.
He even rested his muscle-bound arm on the back of the sofa as if he could wait as long as it took to hear the answer.
Lamenting her situation of having to go as far as to praise the night she spent with the Prince, Levi finally opened her mouth.
“That…… first of all, the size was, um, I think it was worthy of being corrected from a snake to a dragon.”
“I agree.”
As she said, the size of the pattern left on his body was by no means small.
When Demian nodded his head, Levi continued, thinking, ‘Agree with what, you crazy bastard?’
“And…… as for the overall impression…… well, it was so amazing that I was speechless.”
“I suppose that’s understandable.”
Even he had been so flustered when he first saw the bluish-purple pattern covering his skin.
Thinking it was natural for Levi to evaluate it as being speechless, Demian waited for the final answer.
What Levi Heron felt while looking at that hideous dragon pattern.
He could only decide the direction of the subsequent conversation after hearing her answer to the last question.
‘I’ll finally be able to find out if I’m the only one who can sense the Demonic Energy emanating from the pattern.’
Demian had been extremely on edge for several days.
If the Demonic Energy emanating from the dragon pattern covering his body could be felt by others, it would be all too easy for him to be framed for being possessed by a demon or selling his soul.
But whether it was a blessing or a curse, for several days, neither the holy knights nor Frid, including his guard Douglas, who was sensitive to energy, had mentioned the Demonic Energy.
So Demian had hypothesized that his body was the only one that sensed the Demonic Energy emanating from the pattern and reacted to it, making his blood run hot and getting him aroused.
‘But the ones who sense Demonic Energy the best are the successors of Heron, who have animalistic instincts.’
Demian waited for Levi’s answer more calmly than ever.
Listening to her description, it was clear she had seen the pattern engraved on his body.
So, whether Levi answered that she could feel the Demonic Energy or not, he had to silence her.
Only the intensity or method of silencing her would change depending on which direction her answer took.
“I need you to tell me what you felt.”
The answer Levi gave to Demian, who was thinking such thoughts, sounded quite baffling.
“It felt good. As you well know.”
“……?”
It felt good?
Demonic Energy is unpleasant if anything—how could it feel good?
