Chapter 106
IX. Jealousy
But after that day, Psyche couldn’t sleep for a different reason. The events from then kept replaying in her head, and whenever someone knocked, her head would turn sharply, surprising even herself. As if waiting for Rezus.
‘…Am I crazy?’
Did she lose her mind being locked up here for a month now? Does it make sense to develop feelings for someone in this situation? No, no. This might just be a side effect. As a side effect of harboring immense power within her body, as the time of ability manifestation approaches, she loses control of both body and mind. In fact, just a few days ago, hadn’t she been crying helplessly from disappointment and betrayal towards her brother?
‘And perhaps… instead of becoming stronger through s****l relations, there might be a penalty of falling in love with the person you had relations with…’
Given how the original female protagonist was presumed to have felt love-hate rather than pure hatred towards the male leads, such possibility was more than plausible.
‘Let’s just go with the flow now. Emotions aren’t something I can control anyway. Especially in this situation, it’s practically impossible…’
She shrugged and did a light neck stretch. Just in case, she closed her eyes and focused on any sensations, but she couldn’t feel anything like power flowing through her body. Psyche brushed up her hair with a complicated expression.
It had already been over a month since her kidnapping, and during that time, she had numerous relations with the heads of Arje. But perhaps that still wasn’t enough.
How many more relations would she need to manifest her ability?
Moreover, if the side effects were already like this when the manifestation seemed far off, how uncontrollable would her body and mind become when the time drew near?
As she let out a long sigh, a knock sounded. Her head quickly turned toward the door.
“…”
Serdin was entering the room with a hardened expression. Psyche stared at him blankly. While disappointment washed over her each time she confirmed it wasn’t Rezus entering, Serdin was different. What brought him here? Curiosity and slight affection bloomed. Perhaps because when everyone violated her in public, only Serdin showed some consideration in his own way.
“Hello, Phrena. Have you been resting well?”
Then, a pleasant voice settled in her ear. Her eyes widened slightly. Only then did she realize Serdin hadn’t come alone.
“Why…”
“Why did I come? What reason would I have to come to your room? Especially with this bastard.”
“…”
“Your expression says you already know the answer.”
Serdin and Helios were suddenly at close range. With two large men standing by the bedside emanating such pressure, the room that had seemed so spacious suddenly felt cramped. Psyche swallowed dryly. A darkened gaze touched her neck briefly before falling away. Moving only his pupils to meet her eyes again, Serdin spoke.
“I’ll give you a chance to change your mind. Don’t stubbornly resist and regret it later, cooperate with us now.”
It meant to accept their proposal. It was also a threat that if she didn’t accept, they would violate her here with Helios. When she just stared silently, Helios smiled while touching his lips.
“What are you doing, Serdin? Can’t you tell from her expression? She says she won’t cooperate with despicable ones like you.”
“Shut up, I wasn’t talking to you.”
“Hmm…”
Helios narrowed his eyes and watched Psyche. As if blocking that gaze, Serdin stepped forward once more.
“Take the chance while it’s offered. This time won’t end with just one.”
As Psyche furrowed her brow as if asking what that meant, Serdin spoke vulgar words without a change in expression.
“We’re going to stuff two c***s into your p***y at once.”
“…Now you’re making impossible threats?”
“Whether it’s possible or not, you’ll find out when we try, won’t you, Phrena?”
Helios stood close to the bed. He wore a smile so seductive it made her fingertips twitch. The moment Psyche’s gaze touched Helios, a dark shadow fell over her face. Serdin had bent down, trapping her sitting on the bed between his arms.
“If it’s impossible, we’ll make it possible. Though your p***y will tear in the process. We intend to enter even if we have to tear flesh.”
“…”
“So take the chance while it’s offered.”
Golden eyes stared intensely at her face from less than a hand’s width away. Meeting that gaze without avoiding it, Psyche blurted out before she knew it.
“…Did Rezus order this?”
It was words that hadn’t passed through her brain. She herself didn’t know why she asked such a question. As her eyes trembled in confusion, the two men’s expressions became strange.
“Why ask something so obvious?”
Helios soon replied gently while half-closing his eyes.
