Chapter 122
For a moment, her body swayed violently. The arms of both men suddenly wrapped around her, holding her up so Psyche wouldn’t fall. Helios gripped her below her chest, while Rezus supported her back. It was around then that Rezus’s lips parted from hers.
“Oh my, it hasn’t been long since we started, and you already look like you’re about to come.”
“Ah, hng……”
Because of Terche’s scent, her body heated up much faster than usual. Rezus gently caressed Psyche’s cheek, which was flushed red and trembling.
“Hold on a little, Psyche. If you come too many times under me, how do you think that will look to your brother, huh?”
“Y-You’re despicable……”
She couldn’t continue her words and clenched her fists tightly. She understood what he meant—if she didn’t cooperate, he would manipulate the situation to make it seem like she was willing.
How many women could truly feel pleasure while being forced? If Zephyros were to see a video of her reaching her climax in Rezus’s arms, he would likely believe that she had willingly engaged in the act.
It seemed Rezus was precisely aiming for that.
‘This… is too much.’
Just the thought of Zephyros seeing such a video filled her with an indescribable shame that tightened her chest.
“Do you understand the situation now?”
“……”
“Try your best not to lose your composure. What woman would lose herself in the arms of her assailant? Unless it were in the arms of the man she loves.”
Her clenched fists trembled uncontrollably. She had expected that her attitude today might provoke him to act more harshly, but she never imagined he would cross the line this far. A sense of disappointment and betrayal, inexplicable even to herself, flooded her heart in an instant.
Yet, Psyche calmly steadied her breathing and parted her lips.
“……If you really do this, in the end, it won’t be me who falls apart—it will be you.”
Her voice trembled pitifully, but she continued without stopping.
“A lifetime of guilt over me will haunt you, and eventually, you’ll end up devouring yourselves.”
“A lifetime of guilt over you haunting me… how romantic, Phrena.”
Helios, behind her, buried his nose in her neck and took a deep breath.
“Hng, stop….”
Intoxicated by the scent, her body twitched at even the slightest stimulation. With her reddened eyes scrunched up, she grabbed Helios’s hand, which had moved up to her chest, to stop it from going further.
“Please, stop now….”
Her gaze remained fixed on Rezus.
“If you stop now, it’s still possible to turn back. The sins you’ve committed against me won’t disappear, but… at least our relationship won’t spiral into something even worse.”
As she continued, her voice trembled so badly that she had to pause for a moment. She took a deep breath, then looked directly into the eyes of Rezus, Serdin, and Terche, one by one.
“Maybe someday, I might even forgive you. After all, things haven’t completely gone to the worst yet. But if you still choose to go through with this… then do it. Properly, irreversibly, destroy me. Make it so that from now on, I won’t even try to beg you for mercy….”
Rezus, who had been reaching out to Psyche, froze. His expression hardened into something terrifying. Serdin’s face was also stiff and tense, and though Helios was still smiling, the atmosphere around him felt subtly different from usual. Terche’s expression remained unchanged, but no scent emanated from him anymore.
A heavy silence filled the room. Psyche held her breath, waiting for Rezus’s next move. Her heart raced with tension, but she kept her expression calm. Slowly, Rezus curled his outstretched hand into a fist, as if making a decision. His lips parted.
“……Everyone, get out.”
His voice was low but firm. Serdin’s eyes flickered for a moment. He seemed to want to say something but eventually left quietly. Helios also walked out with his usual leisurely stride, though the playfulness in his eyes was gone. Terche silently stared at Psyche until the very end before leaving without a word.
Now, only Psyche and Rezus remained.
“……I thought you, of all people, would make the right choice.”
At her words, Rezus seemed momentarily speechless. His eyes wavered. But soon, a cold, mocking smile spread across his lips.
“The right choice, you say….”
Rezus murmured softly as he gently lifted her chin with his fingertips.
“It seems you’ve mistaken my retreat as being swayed by your words. It’s just that I don’t feel like it right now.”
“…….”
“Remember, the situation can change at any time.”
