“Mmm…….”
The boy, who seemed to have regained consciousness, groaned and raised his body, then lifted his head to look at Heesu.
“……Huh,”
Heesu, who met his eyes, unconsciously drew in a breath.
It felt like looking at a puppy that had just opened its eyes. The large red eyes that sparkled brilliantly between his disheveled black hair looked somehow pitiful, and his straight nose bridge and firmly pressed lips looked somehow fragile. It was an impression that stimulated protective instincts to the point of making her heart ache.
He also had an enchantingly pretty face. At first she had only thought of him as a boy, but looking carefully, his appearance seemed to be on the borderline between boy and young man. That precarious boundary made the boy look even more attractive.
Judging by his red eyes, he seemed to be that demon from before, but no matter how hard she looked, there were no similarities with that demon except for the color. The fact that he was gently blinking his clear red eyes while staring intently at Heesu was the same as before, but she couldn’t think of them as the same at all.
While Heesu was entranced by that sight, the boy suddenly smiled brightly.
“Huh…….”
Heesu, shocked for a moment, drew in a breath. A pretty boy smiling prettily was shockingly beautiful. He was so lovely that she even felt dizzy.
Heesu barely endured her legs swaying. Then the next moment, when the boy who had raised his body looked straight at her and spoke, she almost really collapsed.
“Master.”
“……Yes?”
“Please take good care of me from now on, Master.”
“Huh?”
Heesu, completely bewildered, looked at the man.
“Wh-what’s going on here?”
The man spoke in his unchangingly calm tone.
“Didn’t I say it would follow you as its master?”
“No…… w-why did it suddenly become human?!”
“When demons absorb affection from their master, they assimilate with them. In this case, it became humanized.”
“Whoa, amazing. Totally amazing!”
Heesu, overcome with emotion for a moment, unconsciously let out a cheer. Looking at the boy’s innocent eyes made her chest tremble with rising excitement. This was even more exciting than when she became a magical girl. To think that demon had become such a pretty boy, and moreover, that pretty boy was calling her master and following her.
“D-does this happen often?”
“Not often. It happens when the demon’s rank is high and the magical girl’s magic power is strong. This demon’s rank was high, but…… it seems you have talent.”
“T-talent…….”
She felt like she had just heard a very dangerous word, but Heesu, whose mind had gone blank because of the beautiful boy calling her master, didn’t really grasp it. Other things were more important.
“Are all demons this handso……. I mean, do other demons have faces like this too?”
“Their faces would all be different…… but they would all have above-average looks by human standards. It’s the same principle as how you became that appearance when you transformed. Since it’s an appearance formed by internal energy transcending the physical body.”
“Whoa!”
At those words, as light flashed into her mind, Heesu, even more elevated by excitement, clapped her hands together.
“Then this current body is separate from my original body?”
“That’s right.”
“And even if I’m attacked by demons or get hurt, it won’t affect my original body?”
“Of course.”
“Then it doesn’t matter!”
Because of the beautiful boy before her eyes, Heesu became excessively generous. If it was separate from her original body, then what did it matter if she got violated or whatever? Even if she got violated all the way to the end, it wouldn’t affect her original body at all anyway.
Having become so unreasonably generous, plans for the future spun around in Heesu’s mind.
Since her wish to become a magical girl had come true, she would fight hard to save the world, and as a bonus collect a bunch of handsome men who served her as their master, and have a destined love with one of them…….
Being violated by demons was unexpected, but if she got a handsome man who served her as master in exchange, it didn’t seem bad. No, it was actually good. Really, really very good.
“I’ll try being a magical girl!”
When Heesu shouted with enthusiasm, the man brightened.
“Really?”
“Yes. Please take good care of me from now on.”
“I should be saying that…….”
The man who had been extending his hand toward Heesu spoke as if remembering something.
“Come to think of it, we haven’t introduced ourselves yet. I’m called Izzen.”
“Yes. I’m called Heesu. Lee Heesu. Please take good care of me.”
“I should be saying that too. Heesu-nim.” (t/n: ‘-nim’ added to names or titles to show respect. In this context it’s “Miss Heesu.”)
Heesu and Izzen clasped each other’s hands while smiling. The sunset that happened to be starting to shine from far away dyed them red, creating a fitting atmosphere for that fateful moment.
It was the meeting and beginning of the story of two people, both black-hearted inside.
