Chapter 108
While the two of them argued, Rufus and Alburn came over and looked around with puzzled expressions.
“What in the world is going on?”
“What is it? Is Master in danger?!”
“We don’t know yet. We have to find her first.”
“Master!”
Rufus ran outside in a hurry and called out Heesu’s name as loud as he could. Violen frowned for a moment, thinking it would be troublesome to call her “Master” so loudly, but he immediately followed him, shouting.
“Lee Heesu!”
“Master……!”
Alburn also looked around with a face on the verge of tears, searching for Heesu. He seemed very shocked.
Just in case, they searched every building around, starting with the men’s bathroom, but there was no sign of Heesu.

“Searching together would take even longer. The top priority is to find her quickly.”
“So we’re each going to find Master?!”
“Yes. If you find Heesu, don’t recklessly rush in, and come back here instead.”

Rufus nodded his head vigorously at Violen’s instructions. Violen looked at Rufus with a momentary anxious expression, then lightly patted his back and immediately ran off in a different direction. Edstan and Alburn also ran in separate directions.
Rufus looked at them and headed in a direction no one else had gone. It was toward the bathroom.
“Master’s scent…….”
Rufus sniffed, checking the scent. Heesu’s scent was coming from the space between the bathroom and the next building. The space was so narrow that she had to squeeze through, so her scent was very strong there.
Rufus quickly tried to squeeze his body into that space and go through, just like Heesu. But it was an impossible feat for Rufus, who was much bigger than Heesu. He only managed to squeeze in his shoulder, groaning and struggling to get his whole body in, but after a long while, he gave up and backed out.
“This…… won’t work. The gap is narrow. I am big.”
Rufus muttered with an anxious expression, looking at the space. It was frustrating that he couldn’t pass through a place so full of his Master’s scent, and he stamped his feet in frustration.
Rufus looked around the bathroom building and headed to the other end.
“This…… is even more impossible…….”
The gap there was even narrower than before. Rufus, deflated, looked inside the bathroom. The window of the women’s bathroom was too small for him to enter.
He gave up and went to the men’s bathroom, and his expression brightened a little. Unlike the women’s bathroom, there was only one stall, so the wall was half-open. There was a large window there. He might be able to get in there.
Rufus went to the window and tried to pull it off. The window was quite large for a bathroom, but it was still a tight fit for his body, so Rufus grunted and struggled to push his body in. It was going well until he got his upper body in, but then he got stuck and couldn’t go any further. Rufus groaned and struggled desperately. Then his body suddenly popped out, and he fell to the floor with a thud.

Rufus winced and rubbed his body. He didn’t seem to be hurt since it was a dirt floor, but it hurt enough to make him cry. As he got up and looked around, Rufus’s eyes landed on one spot.
“Gasp!”
There was a woman lying there, dead and shriveled up.
A startled Rufus quickly approached and sniffed, checking the woman’s body. He smelled the monster’s s***n on her. It seemed she had been r***d and had all her magic and energy sucked out of her. Heesu’s scent was also nearby. She had definitely been here. Rufus followed Heesu’s scent.
But Heesu’s scent quickly stopped.
“Why…?”
Rufus frowned, looking around as if he couldn’t understand. As long as a person is walking on the ground, their scent can’t just stop as if it were cut off. As long as a person is walking on the ground.
“Don’t tell me…….”
Rufus sniffed again. Instead of Heesu’s scent, the monster’s scent, which was heavily ingrained in the woman’s body, continued along the path. If the monster had grabbed Heesu and carried her, she should be at the end of this scent trail.

Rufus hesitated for a moment, looking toward the market. But he wasn’t sure yet. He thought it would be better to tell them after he had definitely found Heesu.
Rufus turned his head and started running, following the monster’s scent.
