Chapter 73
“Ahhh…!”
Startled and flustered, Sylvia couldn’t give any proper resistance.
She couldn’t believe this insane man would demand s*x in the middle of a battlefield teeming with enemies. Even in madness, this was beyond reason.
She tried frantically to push against his chest and twist her body to free herself, but as always, her husband’s superhuman strength only tightened his grip further.
“Ugh!”
She gasped, lips bitten, her shallow breaths spilling into his mouth. He smiled with satisfaction, seemingly delighted by her scent.
“Hmmmm.”
Exhaling sharply and twisting his head to deepen the kiss, it became clear: his eyes had shown his true intent earlier. Truly, her husband was prepared for s*x here and now.
‘This madman!’
Consumed with the urge to resist verbally, Sylvia desperately shoved him away. Each time she thought she’d gained distance, he pulled her back. Every attempt to get up was thwarted as her back was pressed down. Still, Sylvia stubbornly resisted.
She had no intention of having s*x here—being caught and devoured by a monster while they were in the middle of it was a fate she would not even entertain. Though no monster had appeared yet having s*x in this tense situation would be suicidal.
“Ugh… uhhhn…!”
No matter how she pounded or flailed, her insane, inflexible husband refused to relent. In the scuffle, she ended up completely exposed.
The soft earth rubbed against her body, and a small amount of mud smeared onto her mouth. Covered in Kuinan’s infused demonic energy, Sylvia’s body naturally accepted the grime.
Even so, she struggled violently—because that was appropriate to the situation. Kuinan, enjoying holding her down and spreading her limbs, finally paused when her resistance became too much of a distraction.
“Ah, why?”
He acted as though she must obey whenever he desired. Sylvia’s irritation flared. Words were useless with him; physical force was the only way to convey her feelings.
Thwack!
His rock-solid body didn’t budge, yet he clearly recognized her displeasure. Getting up with a sulky expression, Kuinan ignored her mud-covered figure. Sylvia hesitated, taking in the sight, and scolded him.
“Do you want to die to me rather than the monsters?”
It was the first time she had openly threatened him.
For four years as his wife, she had cowered in corners, constantly gauging his mood. Now, she could boldly demand answers—thanks to his tacit permission.
“…No?”
“Then why are you acting like this? Should I bite that thing so you can never use it again?”
His eyes suddenly sparkled. He nodded eagerly, as if the idea of being bitten pleased him.
Sylvia paused the conversation.
“…I don’t even want to put it near my mouth. If you strip like me, you’ll get all muddy.”
It seemed to Kuinan that she simply wanted to mate comfortably. The swamp’s mud and mist made it impossible to stay clean.
“You can suck hard enough like this.”
“….”
“Doesn’t matter if it’s in the mud or in a dung patch, I’ll take any of your holes. Just let me in once.”
His voice was laced with a teasing, almost affectionate tone. Sylvia wondered if this man, having suffered all those tortures from the monsters, had also learned how to enthrall someone.
“No.”
She shook her head firmly, still feeling sharp stings from before.
Several monsters watched them closely. Sylvia sensed her body, newly infused with demonic energy, rapidly becoming hypersensitive under the swamp’s influence. She urged him to take up his weapon and armor.
“They’re just small fry monsters.”
“How do you know without seeing them? You seem like you’re like them.”
He was human, of course, though he’d acted hardly human for months. Even after hearing about the tortures and poisons, she couldn’t help questioning him.
He shrugged casually at her sharp remark.
“I have plenty of combat experience.”
He meant the three hundred years of battle experience. Sylvia interpreted it as a few years, and reluctantly accepted it—she needed him for now.
Once home, she’d flaunt him to the hundred doctors even if she has to squander her family fortune, regardless of Lady Rossa.
