Chapter 149
A few days later, Izzen was putting on a ridiculous play with Heesu.
“The moment I saw you, I knew instantly. That you are the ‘Chosen One.’”
His acting, as he recited the prepared lines, was perfect.
At least, Izzen himself thought so.
Even to himself, everything felt flawless, with no faults. He had Violen orchestrate a plausible scenario, and his timing for appearance was exquisite. He even wore a tuxedo and a magician’s hat, referencing an anime character, to look splendid. Anyone would see him as a mysterious, unknown being. It was a perfectly set stage, with a perfect actor delivering a perfect performance.
Yet, the reason it became a ridiculous play was,
“I-I can’t believe it…… I’m just an ordinary person. How could I, who has no power, possibly handle such a huge task…….”
All due to the co-star. His co-star was openly reading from a textbook, i.e., delivering lines flatly. While barely suppressing an expression that clearly showed they were thrilled to death.
Izzen lamented internally. Why does the other actor seem more like they’re acting than me, who is actually acting? No matter how perfect the stage and how talented the actor, if the co-star is a mess, it devolves into a third-rate play. At this rate, the elaborately designed production would be ruined.
To salvage it, Izzen grasped Heesu’s hand even more tightly and delivered a passionate oration.
“That is not true. I saw it clearly just now. The valiant courage, the upright justice, the boundless benevolence hidden deep within you……. There is no mistake. You are the ‘Chosen One’ spoken of in the prophecy! Only you can save this world in crisis!”
“Oh, I can’t believe it.”
Heesu read from the textbook again, and to make matters worse, she moaned while covering her face with her palm, pretending to be in agony. To top it off, her shoulders were trembling, suggesting she was laughing.
She seemed genuinely happy. This was the first time he had seen such an enthusiastic reaction. At this point, it moved beyond lamentation to something akin to awe.
Although he had targeted only the so-called Otaku so far, their reactions varied when the moment of actually becoming a magical girl arrived. Some seriously contemplated it and made a firm resolve and decision. Some were so flustered that they ran away. Others laughed and ignored him, refusing to believe him no matter what he said.
Of course, many were happy and readily accepted. Nevertheless, this was the first person to openly rejoice with such fervor. She really seemed to have wanted to become a magical girl.
Izzen recalled that room and thought,
‘Otaku. This woman is a true Otaku. The real deal is right here.’
But he didn’t let it show. He looked at Heesu seriously and asked with sincerity.
“Will you do it?”
“Yes, if even someone like me is acceptable, then I will gladly…….”
Done. Izzen smiled with satisfaction at the expected answer. Although it was a ridiculous play, he had achieved his goal, so it was a successful conclusion.
Even so, hearing the textbook-reading lines until the very end made him involuntarily sigh. He even thought he was amazing for having guided this play this far.
In truth, to a third party, it was simply a combination of an actor openly reading from a textbook and another actor overacting as if shouting that it was a play, making both of them terrible actors. But Izzen, anyway, thought as he did.
“Wh-What is this?!”
And a few minutes later, Izzen was watching Magical Girl Heesu, who was hanging upside down from a tentacle.
Violen, as planned, had crept up, rubbed his ankles to make her drop her guard, and then lifted Heesu up. A tentacle, slithering like a snake toward her heaving bosom, touched and rubbed her n*****s before turning into a suction cup and clinging to them, sucking as if to absorb the flesh. Soon, another tentacle stretched between her legs and continued the foreplay.
“Aah!”
Heesu struggled, resisted, and tried to break free, but it was a futile struggle. Unable to move an inch, she was defenseless against the rising pleasure, her body trembling, and was slowly being engulfed by ecstasy.
Izzen watched the scene with a complicated heart.
It wasn’t because he was worried about Heesu. Her partner was Violen. He was the notorious toy of the famously technically skilled demon women of the Demon World. Izzen had chosen him for this task precisely because he considered him the best. He didn’t need to worry; Violen would handle it well.
He wouldn’t go for full penetration immediately, but starting today, he would slowly awaken her pleasure and gradually stain her with lust. He would naturally lead her to s****l intercourse and turn her body into one that could enjoy it.
From the start, that body had been designed to become that way. Sensitive enough to feel pleasure with just a slight touch, weak to ecstasy, and thus able to enjoy s*x.
That wasn’t all. The passages were completely blocked so that even if the demon having s*x with her got a sudden whim to drain her life force, they couldn’t. Even if she was injured during intercourse, she would recover upon transforming again. The entrance to her uterus was closed, so she wouldn’t even get pregnant if s***n was e********d inside.
In other words, that body was safe no matter how much she had s*x with a demon.
The meticulous creation of the Magical Girl’s transformation body was all because of Heesu. She was the Sovereign’s beloved and precious existence. The more safety measures, the better.
So, he wasn’t worried about Heesu. He was just uneasy about the fact that he had finally gone through with it. His feelings were complex.
“I was so happy to finally become a Magical Girl, but I’m a Magical Girl from a degradation genre?!”
At that moment, Heesu, who was being intimately fondled by the tentacles, suddenly shouted that, making Izzen secretly flustered.
‘Magical Girl from the degradation genre…… what is that?’
Naturally, the only magical girl works Izzen knew were those in Heesu’s room. Thus, he had no idea that there was a genre perfectly suited to the scheme he had devised.

Why on earth does he like a woman like that?
That was Izzen’s honest thought after observing Heesu for a few days up close. He felt Jaeha could have chosen a more excellent specimen, so he couldn’t understand why he specifically liked a woman like this.
Well, her magical power was indeed immense. It was unbelievable for an ordinary human. But honestly, Heesu was a bit much.
Setting aside her looks, as Jaeha didn’t seem like the type to care much about appearance, she was slow-witted, a mass of desires, utterly clueless about calculation, had terrible stamina, was lazy and slothful, and even lacked tenacity.
Despite this, since she was Jaeha’s precious person, he went out of his way to rent a luxurious mansion and treat her with the utmost care, but he was far from satisfied. She was severely lacking as a consort for the Demon King.
Her look of exhaustion after a little bit of hiking was pathetic. He was truly terrified when she almost instantly bludgeoned the last remaining member of the clan that protected forests and flowers to death by swinging her magic wand like a baseball bat. She was truly an uncontrolled woman.
The only good thing was that her thoughts were obvious, making her easy to manipulate. That’s what he thought. At first.
But when he failed to consider the werewolf’s fast growth rate and exposed Heesu to danger, he couldn’t raise his head from shame. It was truly a pathetic mistake. He thought it would be only fair if Heesu quit being a magical girl and threw Rufus out immediately.
But Heesu did neither. She didn’t blame him further, and she ended up accepting Rufus.
There was something more than just her desire for magical girls and handsome men. As Izzen pondered what that something was, the word ‘tolerance’ came to mind. He suspected she had an unexpectedly broad capacity.
It was around this time that Violen began to obsess over Heesu. Izzen had expected him to approach s*x slowly, but he didn’t expect him to act so impulsively. Observing Violen all along, Izzen became certain. He was originally the type to move only for his own benefit and survival. He had been, yet now he was no longer like that.
Thanks to this, Heesu adapted to s*x and became a body weak to pleasure faster, but something felt unstable. A pawn on his chessboard, which used to move according to his will, had gained emotions and started moving by its own volition. From there, something started to go wrong.
Moreover, Rufus was excessively loyal to Heesu. It was natural, as dogs are inherently loyal to their owners, but the problem was that he was hostile toward Izzen. While dogs and cats are naturally opposites, this was too much. It felt as if he had sensed it instinctively. That Izzen was a being who could potentially harm Heesu.
Izzen was secretly excited when Edstan appeared. Even with his infamous reputation as a madman, he was one of the few high-ranking demons who had survived.
Furthermore, the Incubi and Izzen’s clan had maintained a close friendship since ancient times. Nightmares were a perfect means for weaving plots and schemes. That means would be a great asset in rebuilding the Demon World.
To achieve that, he absolutely had to bring Edstan to their side. He desperately tried to persuade Heesu for that purpose, yet,
“Now I can stab him in the belly!”
Heesu was cheerfully shouting that with a bright face, truly seeming delighted.
It was only then that Izzen realized Heesu was by no means soft-hearted. She simply had a different line. The boundary of tolerance Heesu had drawn was wider than others; she was soft until someone crossed into that boundary, but the moment they stepped outside of it, she was merciless. Especially so when it came to protecting her people.
Realizing this, Izzen became uneasy.
‘What would happen if I get pushed outside that line?’
At that time, she might even try to stab him in the belly while he was sleeping. Thinking this, Izzen began to suffer from nightmares and couldn’t sleep soundly.
Nonetheless, he did manage to bring Edstan to their side. He did bring him, but…….
“Master, I missed you! I thought I was going to die just for not seeing you for one night! To not be treated like a bug by you for such a long time…….”
He was in that state after whatever happened during the night.
Unexpectedly, upon learning that he possessed the abilities of a noble and might become the King of the Incubi in the future, Izzen became even more disheartened. The lack of motivation, dignity, and authority was a serious problem, but there was an even more serious one. It was that at this rate, the entire clan of Incubi was about to fall into Heesu’s hands.
His goal was to bring Heesu into the Demon World and make it so Jaeha had no choice but to subjugate her. From that perspective alone, it could be considered a successful progression. Yet, he felt uneasy.
Heesu was acting more and more independently, and the demonic creatures under her command were also moving as they pleased.
Of course, even if they moved as they pleased, they would still listen to their master, Heesu. But now, no one listens to Izzen’s words.
Already, there was nothing on this chessboard that moved according to his will. Without his realizing it, someone had taken the seat across the board in this game. Heesu was now there.
Around the time Izzen was growing increasingly anxious and nervous in this situation,
“Izzen.”
“Yes, speak.”
Jaeha called. Izzen instinctively knelt down and took the call.
He was trying his best to respond as calmly as possible, but anyone could see he was flustered. He was so flustered that his hands and legs were all trembling. It was impressive that he hadn’t dropped the phone.
Whether he knew or not, Jaeha spoke abruptly in his usual indifferent tone.
“I haven’t seen you around lately?”
“Ah, that’s because I’m busy with various things due to the Magical Girl Project I mentioned last time.”
“Is that going well?”
“Yes.”
“F**k. Why is that shitty plan going well?”
“…….”
Izzen secretly broke out in a cold sweat at the harsh profanity he hadn’t heard in a while. Jaeha continued without paying any attention to whether Izzen answered or not.
“Hey. I haven’t heard from Heesu lately. You haven’t dragged her into it, have you?”
“H-Her? As you instructed, I distributed the photos, so there’s no way she would be……”
“You’re not doing anything outlandish, are you?”
“W-What outlandish thing would I be doing……”
“Right? If you did, you’d die, seriously.”
“Y-Yes. I will keep that in mind.”
“You better.”
The call abruptly cut off there.
Izzen remained frozen for a long time, trembling. His legs were completely numb. Now that Jaeha had started to suspect, it was only a matter of time before he was caught. He felt like he had been sentenced to a death sentence, that the fate of being beaten to death was imminent.
Yes, he had prepared himself. Even though he thought he had prepared, he was scared when the situation actually arrived. He was genuinely terrified.
